Ah Steve! We are both slow runners! I love it! Did my entire run today at 4.5! 😅

4.5mph sounds like a very sensible speed! The tortoise always beats the Hare 😂

Thanks for the videos, I’m really torn between Nordic & Peloton. Curious re your 2450, when I follow your link for the UK it’s quite different to yours - yours look like the 2950, seems like they have changed the names?
@SteveJulien Жыл бұрын
Hi! Looks like they’ve sold out of the current 2450’s on the UK site and have the older model there. The new 2950 is really good and has the bigger 27 inch screen. This may help if you haven’t seen it already: 10 Reasons I Bought The NordicTrack 2450 Treadmill Over A Peloton Tread . (Nordictrack 2450 review) kzbin.info/www/bejne/inTLnHSgppeenrs

My unit is constantly on, the internal fan never stops. Even in sleep mode. Seems like it’ll not last if it never stops. I don’t want to have to power it off every time I use it

I only have my machines on when I’m using them. Otherwise they’re powered off. 👍🏽

Hi Steve how are you?can we not using iFit to use the treadmill, i mean can we use the screen to watch a youtube or somthin elss..because we dont want to pay the membership thank you Steve
@SteveJulien6 ай бұрын
Im great thanks and hope you are too! The screen is locked to iFit or manual workouts. When I did my 10,000 steps a day challange, I mounted a ipad on the wall behind the Treadmill to watch YT. If I was looking at that permantly, I would put a TV there and go for the Nordictrack 1750 (or 1250) as theres less of a need for the 22 inch screen (Plus the 1750 is essentially the same, just a smaller screen)

Do you think that this would cause a lot of noise for my downstairs neighbor if I live in a condo? I don't hear much noise typically but this is a large machine
@SteveJulien Жыл бұрын
Unless the building was really solid, then I would say there could be noise transference to anyone below you. This tread is really well cushioned so that may reduce that. Not a definite answers, but hope it helps.

Does the screen tilt up? It looks like it does, but I can't seem to get it to move.
@SteveJulien Жыл бұрын
Yes, but they can be stiff out of the box.

it says it has a constant 3.5hp motor so what does this really mean? it still does not appear if it is a DC or AC motor?

How easy is it to switch between users for multi user households?

Very, you each have a tab on the Home Screen.

Cannot use my 2450 if Internet is out. Storm came through and knocked it out and it may be several more days before it's restored but in the meantime my machine is completely useless. I instantly regret buying.

Do you need an accessory for the heart rate monitoring for the workouts? Im assuming you do

I use a Whoop as a HRM and it works really well (as well as being a great health tracker) kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYq3mmefg9iqrsk

A few things you need to know about this treadmill number one you have to turn it on and off manually bend down and hit a button and it takes over 60 seconds before you can start doing anything with it. I would not buy this treadmill again. It never truly goes into a sleep mode. It’s very angular and difficult to move around and cannot leave a room without disassembly.
