Thanks! To me it was (or still is) extremely reliable. No issues apart from a single rusty hose clamp that led to coolant loss. But for 5.5years of ownership that’s nothing & it’s still going strong as my daily driver.

Waouh, j’hesites en ce moment entre la Megane 3 rs, la Clio 3 ou 4, je connais bien la tenue de route extra de la Megane et j’avais peur que la Clio en manque mais quand on voit ta vidéo ... Joli pilotage, tu connais bien ta voiture, je pense que ça va me convaincre ... Seul bémol à mon goût c’est le bruit de la 4 ...

Ahah incroyable je suis dans le même cas que toi 😂 et c'est pour ça que je regarde des vidéos de piste pour me convaincre j'ai envie de m'initier avec ma future voiture mais ça doit aussi être un daily .... Je pense que la Clio 4 avec sa boîte auto et la possibilité d'avoir le carplay et tout pour tous les jours , et le chassis super affûté ,le moteur rageur et le RS monitor le weekend pour la piste c'est le compromis parfait je pense !

Pour tous les deux, posez vous la question de l'utilité que vous en aurez. J'ai aussi hésité mais pour moi c'était la Clio 4 qu'il me fallait car elle me sert avant tout en daily et je voulait une boite auto pour la conduite pépère de tous les jours, et 5 portes parce que j'ai un gamin. Si je n'avais voulu qu'une voiture "plaisir" pour les WE et sortie trackday j'aurai "peut-être" choisie la Mégane 3 RS

8 minutes 20 seconds! That's the highest Nürburgring record for a C-segment production car. It's hard to believe that an ordinary hatchback car can set such a record. The driver's braking manoeuvres are excellent, but the fact that the front wheels are stable at such high speeds proves that the vehicle is very rigid. There are times when the front wheels idle in tight corners, and if the car had been equipped with a mechanical LSD, we could have gone faster. I feel that is a bit of a waste of time.

Yes in some medium to low speed corners an LSD would definitely be very helpful.

Mr. @@rallyseb1311 、Actually, I am also an owner of a Clio RS, and I am concerned about the characteristic of the vehicle to turn in a stall-like manner on a mountain road with a pinched corner. The vehicle's posture when turning is clean, but the timing of accelerating is delayed, which causes me some stress. I was saddened to learn that the Clio RS cannot be fitted with an LSD system, as the DCT transmission system inevitably takes up a lot of space. However, the Clio RS is a hot hatch with excellent handling. Of the many vehicles with FWD layouts, one with such low hysteresis loss is a rare find.

Thanks man :) I was using the Michelin Pilot Supersport the car was delivered with. Really amazing tyres for all purposes. But overheat quickly on Track and sidewalls are soft as hell. Trying Yokohama AD08RS for now.

Hey Cristian, for now I’m running -2.5 camber on a daily basis. If I would set it again I’d probably recommend -2 as the best compromise for a daily driven car.

hi bro , when installing the Silver project camber plate . are the factory top mount and bearing needed? as per your comment below, how to you achieve negative 3 degrees? because ive red on the website maximum is negative 2 degree. Factory hole on the strut tower give us maximum of negative 1 degree. Do u mean by adding the factory -1 degree together the -2 degree on the camber plate to achieve -3 degrees?

Hey, factory top mount & bearing are not needed. Yes, adding factory & plate value should be correct. Actually i think i could have gone quite a bit further than 3 deg, if i wanted to tho.

Hey Cristian, are you happy with the camber plates? Do you have a knocking noise when going over little bumps and dips in the road? At first i used 2.5 to 3 degrees but it destroyed my tires so fast without having a big benefit on track. I've settled for 1.5 now, but i'm yet to try it on the Nords.

Cheers 🙏🏻 Car was stock apart from camber plates to make the OEM tyres work for a longer time during the lap. Didn’t really make much of a difference though so i reverted to stock parts. Really capable little car.

how did you mount 3 way harness with normall seats? is it still possible to use normall harness on every day or is it a replacement? also no problems with stock pads/rotors ? btw, nice driving! oh, and stock tyres means PSS or PS4 (like mine from 2018)?

I can only recommend to mount them. You only need to increase the thread size of the mounting point of the harness, cause it otherwise it won't fit. You can use your regular harness any day you want to, that's the great thing about them. Only make sure to carry a buckle of some old harness for when you do use the 3-way harness, otherwise the car will beep itself to death. After I've removed the aero flaps in front of the front wheels they work just fine for a single lap of the ring. Haven't had multiple or even a trackway though, but I would imagine it's necessary to upgrade the pads at least. I'm planing to get some Ferodo DS1.11 in the long term. Tyres are Michelin PSS my car (2016 model) came with.

hi, ich fahre auch einen clio rs throphy regelmäßig auf der nordschleife und ich spiele auch mit den gedanken die silverproject domlager einzubauen. jedoch befürchte ich das die vorderachse ein gutes stück tiefer kommt wegen den domlagern. wollte mal nachfragen ob die bei dir die vorderachse tatsächlich tiefer geworden ist und falls ja ob sich das negativ auf das fahrverhalten ausgewirkt hat. und sehr schön gefahren daumen hoch :) lg

Hey Okan, leider kommt die Vorderachse durch die Sturzdomlager merklich höher. Schlechter geworden ist das Fahrverhalten allerdings nicht. Ich finde, dass die Reifen mit dem Sturz etwas länger brauchen, bis sie an ihre Grenzen kommen und später anfangen zu schmieren, wirklich schneller haben mich die Domlager aber nicht gemacht. Außerdem habe ich aktuell ein ausgeprägtes Klopfen an der VA, dessen Ursache noch nicht ergründet ist. Evtl. sind's die Domlager. Kann bislang nichts schlechtes berichten, aber so wiiiiiirklich gelohnt hat's sich dann auch nicht. Hatte mir anfangs mit etwas über 2.5 Grad Sturz die Reifen im Daily Betrieb nach 8.000km innen runterradiert. Jetzt fahre ich 1.5 Grad (letzlich nur noch 0.7-0.5 mehr als Serie), konnte es aber auf der Nordschleife noch nicht ausprobieren. Vllt sieht man sich ja mal an der Strecke. Da lässt's sich noch besser philosophieren ;)

Hi Seb, danke für die Hilfe. Hmm die Tatsache das die Vorderachse höher kommt bringt meine ganzen Pläne für die nächste Saison komplett durcheinander :D Ich würde das Serienfahrwerk gerne ausreizen. Weißt du vllt um wieviel höher die VA gekommen ist ? Bei den Renaults habe ich leider oft die Erfahrung gemacht das die Geräusche machen wenn man am Fahrwerk was ändert. Dann muss ich mir wohl was anderes einfallen lassen wie ich die Reifen und das Fahrwerk besser ausreizen kann. Ja das wäre echt super. Können nächste Saison auch gerne zusammen auf die Strecke :D

Feely very grippy with good lift off oversteer. By now i'm using the Federal RS Pro UHP / Semi Slicks and i'm even more impressed by the stock chassis. Very, very good cornering, very neutral, easy to re-position with lifting off the gas or left foot braking. Only thing missing is a proper mechanical LSD.

Hi, ich muss die 100. Frage zu den Sturzplatten stellen... Da das KW CS gerade preislich etwas den Rahmen sprengt, möchte ich mir die Sturzplatten verbauen. Wieviel Runden NS bist du bisher mit den Platten gefahren und macht sich der Sturz bemerkbar? Deine Rundenzeiten haben sich ja schon verbessert (was natürlich nicht unbedingt an den Platten liegt 🙃). Der Clio hat für meinen Geschmack etwas wenig Sturz an der VA, was man leider auch am Reifenbild sieht. Über ein kurzes Feedback würde ich mich sehr freuen! BTW: Tolle Runde!! VG

Danke & sorry für die späte antwort. Hatte den Eindruck, dass die Reifen auf der Strecke später anfingen zu überhitzen/schmieren. Aber beim Serienfahrwerk und Serienreifen (Michelin Pilot Supersport) nicht unbedingt das mehr Grip generiert wurde. Serienmäßig hatte ich mehr Gefühl fürs Limit und die Balance war insgesamt besser. Die serienmässigen -1.5 Grad (wenn man glück hat auf beiden Seiten gleichmäßig) ist ein guter Kompromiss, aber für viel Trackeinsatz zu wenig. Was durch den Sturz definitiv zugenommen hat war der Reifenverschleiss im Alltag. Da ich das Fahrzeug zu 90% auf öffentlichen Strassen nutze und mir das Klopfen der Domlager den letzten Nerv raubte, habe ich wieder zurück gebaut.

I’d be great to have an option as manual gearbox but it’s fine. In general I can say the car it’s ok if you plan to use as daily. Mine has 70 k kms on the odo and so far no pbms. I remover the cats and has a more aggresive sound. I think to straight pipe it, but still not sure.
