I don't get it,why do they allow people in vans enter?Doesn't that mess with the pace?

Well, everyone with a street legal vehicle is allowed to enter the tourist drives, even such vans. They don't really care about messing with any pace because the tourist drives aren't thought for racing anyway. In this case the Nurburgring is nothing more than a toll duty country road.

nordschleife96 Interesting,so are there times when the general public can enter when they don't allow such vehichles?Like more of a track day type of thing.

Moldy Track Days are held about once or twice a month, but I don't exactly know if they only allow specific types of cars at such events. On the other days pretty much everyone can enter the track, except of motorcycles (or other vehicles) below 125ccm, at least that's all I know :p

Moldy the thing is: I have a Lotus Elise. I am a newbie. If you have somebody who drove the Nordschleife a few times -or better- a Pro and give him a van, hes going to be faster than me in my Lotus. Seriously, the most important factor is not the power of the car or the setup, its the driver...

4:47 Must have been oil or diesel on the track there. He wasnt pushing it or tanked over.

Was man bei 3:06 sieht, ist einzig und allein, dass der Fahrer den Streckenverlauf nicht kannte, daher also den Kurvenradius zu gering eingeschätzt hatte und als Folge geradeaus fuhr. Es hängt in diesem Fall also nicht an Front- oder Heckantrieb, sondern nur an der schlechten Fahrlinie.

Ja. Bei Unfällen soll in der Regel immer bei der Streckensicherung angerufen werden, daher wird die Nummer nochmals bei den Unfällen im Video eingeblendet.
