Best years 05-08 for these trucks as long as it's maintained and gone through to bulletproof it. No DEF to get or worry about, yes the sulfur smells but some love it, just use it as it's intended and you'll easily get 500,000 miles.

Actually 08 is the worst year of Powerstroke ever it was first year of the 6.4, the 6.4 can be decent after you drop a big chunk of cash, I’d stay away from 6.4s, 05-07 6.0 is a solid truck as long as you do the nessary motor changes...

Goodough Pie solid truck but you gotta drop 10-15 grand to get a shop to bullet proof it. Sounds good to me. Got a 6.4 and only had to put 1600 in it over the course of 247k miles.

@@goodough No, I dont think studding is the only process in bulletproofing. Deck the block? WTF are you talking about? I've heard of decking heads on a 6.0....but never the block. I went crazy on my bulletproofing and it was $8k...you can buy a stage 3 built engine from diesel dynamics for about $9k. So yeah...$10-15k is a crazy exaggeration.
