My uncle Bobby really love these old trains, I think it was because he loved history some much and trains have that history of help build this country. The massive locomotives and the engineer in technology that person is trying to run our country cannot be forgotten but I know uncle Bobby roden great locomotive to heaven. Probably an old steam engine.

+TN STEAM MEMORIES Thats a shame. One of the first models I got was an HO version of the 722 in green. I love that locomotive. You have an excellent channel by the way.

This was exactly when 630 was removed from service, was retired in 1989, so I'm guessing just months prior to this.

That is my understanding as well. All my videos are old and edited from vhs and I have a limited supply of them. I am thankful NS did give us the program long enough to load KZbin with countless HD videos of these locomotives. My vids are just souvenirs of my memories. HD and drones has enable some amazing footage I never get tired of watching. I never thought the program would have even come back after the last shut down. Maybe it could happen again but I won't hold my breath. Sad but still thankful to NS.

+TN STEAM MEMORIES NS just announced trips for 611 in 2016. No trips for FWRHS or TVRM, but VMT should be around with NS for at least a few years. 611 should have some rare milage too, through the Southern Loops to asheville, and a possibility for a Southern F7/E8 helper duo, according to TRAINS magazine!
