How can I change the window striping on the Eliot Welz Amtrak Amfleet coaches to phase IVb? I know you have a vast knowledge on these things because of your posts. Thank you.

I haven't done it to mine yet. I did get a replacement set of Phase 2 stripes from Welz himself many years ago, and only then reconsidered updating the cars' stripes instead of merely replacing them. The plan was to scan the replacement decals and then use that as a template to draw up Phase IV stripes with the correct window cutouts+spacing. The thing about the Welz decals however, is that the window 'glass' is part of the decal, so replacements would have to be professionally printed to get clear windows (potentially expensive), or I'd have to come up with a way to layer inkjet-on-decal-paper over a clear base strip to maintain the look of flush-fitting windows.

@@livearts9740 I've actually placed an order with GGD for five Vewliners (baggage, dorm, diner and two sleepers). I intend to run them with my existing MTH Amfleets, more-or-less re-creating the _Crescent_ .

Short version: Yup Longer version: Took me a couple of days, but I finally composed a reply, then realized it was too long-winded and deserved to be posted somewhere where my subscribers might be notified of it and get up to speed.
