@@multitalentedlator there are two different neighborhoods filmed here in the beginning. The first looks like Calvert Park which is public housing. The second is Huntersville which is a notoriously crime ridden area. There are many beautiful neighborhoods throughout city of Norfolk, what is filmed here is not a suitable area for a family or anyone in my opinion.

The first two neighborhoods are actually dilapidated and full of trash. The camera did not pick up on it. The original architecture is so beautiful that it offsets the blight. I live and work in this area, its quite dangerous. However the city as a whole is gorgeous from the downtown Harbor to Ghent to Ocean View.

Out of towners all ways say this. Don’t be fooled. New Yorkers come down here thinkin it’s sweet only to go back home robbed. Also I went to Cali they had beautiful palm trees and houses , my homeboy was like this the hood I was like nah. Then like 30 gang bangers came out in the street as we drove by. Norfolk isn’t what it was 20-25 yrs ago because of the constant gentrification but best believe u could still end up in some shit turning the wrong corner. U not gonna see graffiti on walls and shit like that but we can tell if u from out of town over here and if u bark too loud thinking shit sweet it’s a wrap.

They laughed when I said we are done. They both asked where is the Ghetto? All we've seen is Garden Apartments and fake wanna be gangstas...
