Norfrost freezers-How they're made

I have a Norfrost Aura. The lid seal needs replacing, but finding spares is not possible as Norfrost no longer exist. The only thing they didnt cover in the video was fitting the lid seal! Ive searched everywhere for spare seal, but no luck. The freezer was left in garage by previous tenents, and we have been using it for 15 years!! So a lot to say about human experienced workmanship. If anyone knows of a Norfrost spares supplier, please let me know.

Does the wall of the freezer have pipes with refrigerant wrapped inside it? The reason I ask is because I want to drill two half inch holes in either side of a freezer so I can feed and coil a hose pipe inside the freezer, one entry hole and one exit hole for the hosepipe? But I'm not sure if I will drill through any pipes holding refrigerant.

If it has a condenser like this one and you are recouping then u don't need to worry about drills cause can see what your doing

Hello I have been trying to find a repair shop here in New York or in the United States for the longest time to replace the hinges and repair the door on my Norfrost Ice Chef model 204 501. My freezer is still in good working condition. Do you have any repair shops listed or does anybody out there know of a repair shop for my older chest freezer ? I would truly appreciate all response and feed back. Thank you.

I guess it is especial showing of assembly by manager, so that is why speed it so slow.

So slow, all those seconds wasted. Manual tearing of tape to length, adding bits of wrap, stuck with tape, to make the packing protection. Modular construct would speed the assembly process and save more seconds. WiFi ? Intelligence detailing what is in the freezer and its use by date ? Suggesting recipes from contents that are near use by date ? Malcolm
