I Would be happy with either round for the cf98 in question . Other imported handguns in Pakistan are to expensive the prices are inflated ( I know this video was made in Canada lol) the cf98 is very popular in Pakistan it’s a had a price drop now available for 80k brand new about 590 dollars 🇨🇦 were glocks are around 5 thousand dollars 🇨🇦 brand new🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️

Thanks for the vid Coulee. Watching from Yorkshire UK. A friend in Pakistan a who bought his CF98-A9 (these new models) messaged me a few months back is now complaining that his pistol slide & magz are catching rust to the point that he has to clean it every few days. Not sure if anyone else reading this commment had similar issues? I bought the Norinco stamped CF98 in Pak 10 years ago then sold it but now wana get one of these ones but really confused about the quality.

@coulee-outdoors6 ай бұрын
I would try cleaning the bore and chamber really well and try again. Otherwise it sounds like an ammunition issue. Ammo that is not in spec that will not chamber. Other than that you might have a burr in your chamber or something like that. I had a few rounds that didn’t go into battery and needed the slide to be forced shut. This was due to the gun needing to be broken in. It’s been a lot better the more I fire it.

@coulee-outdoors3 жыл бұрын
I stripped it down and cleaned it. Put oil on the moving parts. It’s just shot the way it did. I think it needs to break in honestly. Everyone keeps thinking it’s the aluminum cased ammo. I’m not so sure. Some pistols have a break in period. I’m learning about this pistol just as everyone is who watches the video. I’m curious to see how the next 100 rounds will be. It’s fun trying out new platforms.
@johnnybbgunner21363 жыл бұрын
@@coulee-outdoors You did it right then as far as getting it ready to shoot down range. Good thing is it was cheap and you should see wear marks already on that slide so you can figure out if it just needs a slight smoothing out. They must pound these pistols out by the thousands and quality will suffer. Hopefully not your carry pistol yet until that slide breaks in. Did you figure out what that brown haze was after shooting that day?
@coulee-outdoors3 жыл бұрын
@@johnnybbgunner2136 I haven’t had a chance to check that out yet. When I’m on my days off I plan to check out the pistol a lot more thoroughly. It’s definitely not my carry pistol. Unfortunately I’m Canada, carrying a pistol is by permit only and those permits are extremely rare.

No. I used the ammo that was available and affordable. Not going to spend a mortgage payment on ammo just to get the best stuff. If all my pistols can run the same ammo then it’s a comparison in the quality of the pistol themselves. Obviously this gun was breaking in. Some guns just need to find their groove.
