Non of these weapon were made or designed by norinco, norinco was just a company which sells all the products designed and manufactured by other Chinese companies. Chinese laws and regulations only allow a handful of company to do international weapon trade while Chinese police and military could by weapons directly from the factory which make all these products.

'Ripping off' vehicle designs from other countries/manufacturers is not new for China, they have done it since WWII. That said, it would be wrong to say that they only repainted an armor vehicle and are selling it as their own. After taking an initial design, they often heavily modify it into something more suitable for themselves. I will say they have the right idea as far as their 'light' MBT concept. Why build thick, heavy armor, when most Anti-Tank weapons simply go around it? IMO all around HEAT-warhead and Auto-cannon protection wold be viable protection. APS for top attack protection, and you are now resistant to most form of threats against your vehicle, Leavig; Mines, enemy tanks, and AC into roof (aircraft). APS may or may not work vs artillery? (but i know heavy armor doe not)

I have only come across Norinco SKS, ak47 and the 7.62 ammo all of them had problems and their we many rounds that didn't fiction properly. idk about their equipment but, that has been my experience with the small arms and munitions.

All of this stuff looks great in their own colors and may fend off smaller trouble-making armies, but the Chinese really need to become more creative when it comes to military equipment. Unless if all of these designs are enhancements of Russian design meant purely for export, they've fallen back in terms of the capability and functionality in their military. Man power alone with their equipment becoming slowly obselete, it won't cut it should the world be at war again.
