Bought one end of last year. Turns eyes at the range against the usual rifles others have. Good fun rifle at a very good price.

I got one since 4 weeks and it is real fun to shot this little thing. Everything is a little rough, but i am abke to shoot a 3" target at 55 yards.

Strange, every cz 452 and old Brno(as far back as 1958, before they called them cz 452) I have ever used has had an action smooth like butter. Perhaps they were crap when new, and promptly sorted by the original owners, as I've always had great experiences. Trigger adjustment needs to be done by a Smith or a machinist though. Interestingly, norinco makes actual copies of the cz 452. Wouldn't surprise me if these are 90% the same parts made in the same factory on the same machines.

My 1986 Brno wasn't smooth at all but then I think it had been barely used when I got it earlier this year. A bit of work with a dremel and polishing rouge worked wonders, the action can be cycled with two fingers now. Also the trigger was crisp but bloody heavy at 5lbs+ 😳 but a lighter trigger spring brought that down to under 2lbs.

@@zhukieyes, they do seem to be often rather heavy out of the factory. Still, when you're used to it, they are bloody accurate. Nobody seems to clean their 22s, I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I recently saw some .22LR K98's at J&G sports in Prescott, Arizona. I asked to look one over, pretty cool repro. Long ago I had a JW15 and currently shoot a Norinco EM332. Question, why do the Brits say "zed" when pronouncing the letter z ? Why only the letter z ? Why not also say, "bed" for b, "ded" for d, etc. ? I also own a BMW Z3, what you would know as Zed 3.

The cleaning rod unscrew and the safety you have to push it forward hard to engage it.
