If Norm really hasn't struggled with an alcohol addiction, his only excuse for looking like this must be a crippling addiction to lying in a hot oven. With Sean Lock dying in the last week, I hope Norm takes better care of himself, or it will be the second of my favourite comedians I never had a chance to see live.

@@davidwhite890 Yeah, if Norm wasn't so unsentimental about death and joking about it, I may have felt really bad about this comment. Now I just feel really bad about my favourite comedian passing, especially so soon after a runner up to the position, Sean Lock, also died from cancer. At least the lead from my favourite comedy film, The Big Lebowski, just released information that his cancer is in remission, otherwise I'd be on suicide watch now.

I appreciate this comment because it showed a completely appropriate concern. None of us like to speculate but it made sense from his activity and appearance, I think leukaemia specifically can be so so debilitating. Sean Lock and Norm probably the two biggest comedic figures in my life ahead of Frankie Boyle, Ricky Gervais and Bill Burr. Been a really devastating period.

I actually forgot that I had written the second half of the post, that I suspected that he might die (hence the double Sean Lock comment), cause when I saw the news the other day, it still came as a shock. You have similar taste in comedians, Frankie Boyle has been one of those I've wanted to see live, but I've already seen Burr, Gervais, as well as Jefferies and Stanhope (who I flew to see ten years ago, when I thought he would possibly drink himself to death at any point).
