Thanks for your review. Still hopeful this works without ejection issues on my 617-4 S&W. Based on replies I feel more positive than before watching / reading. The rounds that get sticky after 50 - 60 rounds are generally hotter than Federal Target (800 rnd box). Our local range is going green so I bought a ton without testing; at least it was clearance priced under $4 / 50 rounds…

I have shot the Norma EcoSpeed in a bolt action 18" barrel. At a 100 yard target with a decent camera I saw a spiral in the trajectory. It was only a couple of inches but that told me that the projectile was overdriven by the charge. I have about 400 rounds of this stuff left.

I could see that. it was not accurate out of my pistols where I was able to hit a 4" target at 20 yards with all of the guns I brought today with the silvertip, the Norma was nowhere close, but I wasn't sure if that was the ammo or just me.

@@AICvideo That same rifle with CCI Stingers has put all 7 rounds in a bottle cap at 100 feet. Of course I was younger with perfect eyesight. The Norma ammo is reserved for my 9 shot Tanfoglio double action pistol. The Tanfoglio is only good for 25 feet no matter what ammo you put in it.

@@tonytsquared5576Thanks for posting! I just bought a lot of the Norma Eco lead free as our local club indoor shooting range is going green. I’m shooting a 617-4 and am more concerned with consistency than absolute accuracy. It was on sale under $4 / box of 50. I can shoot several hundred rounds of Federal Range (800 rnd box) but find hotter loads get very sticky to eject after as few as 50 or 60 rounds. Fingers crossed - the ammo arrives in a couple of days…

yeah, works great. I've had 0 issues with silvertip ammo.
