I haven't listened to Norma Jean since 2002. I was 14 and only liked whatever was on the radio, and I never got around to checking them out again. Until now! I absolutely love the emotional delivery of the singing, and the harsher vocals hit me right in the chest. Many thanks to our patrons for such an amazing suggestion!

The story behind this album (All Hail) is really cool! The guitarist (Grayson Stewart) joined the band in 2018 and was a huge fan of the band. He was fanboying out hard and couldn’t believe that he was now the guitarist of one of his favourite bands. Then the mad lad wrote the best material the band has come up with in their lifespan and has really moved the band forward into a brilliant new chapter.

@@DJTheMetalheadMercenary The worship for that era of NJ, overshadows the pure ethereal wall of sound that they’ve become since Wrongdoers. Cory is extremely talented and he’s an incredible vocalist and lyricist. Scogin is great too, but this sound in this era of NJ just has so much more oomph and gusto in my opinion.

@@_notofthisearth I wouldn't call it worship, just the material that I subjectively like more from them. New stuff has some great riffs here and there, but nothing hooks me like the older material.
