The story behind this album (All Hail) is really cool! The guitarist (Grayson Stewart) joined the band in 2018 and was a huge fan of the band. He was fanboying out hard and couldn’t believe that he was now the guitarist of one of his favourite bands. Then the mad lad wrote the best material the band has come up with in their lifespan and has really moved the band forward into a brilliant new chapter.

As with most bands with a 20+ year history, norma jean's sound has changed alot and I know that the vocalist who started off with the group left, I think around the time the band put out the album "Wrongdoers" so if that was a reason you couldn't get into them before, might be worth noting. In my opinion The Redeemer is an example of a perfect album and perfectly encapsulates the more hardcore elements of metalcore in a way that make it unique, to me at least.
