Bout time you gave Norma Jean a shot. I suggested them to you two years ago actually. Their new LP drops next month.

Not a big fan of metalcore, but this song slapped more than Will Smith at the Oscars. 😂🤘

I know the band because I was into metalcore yeeeaarss ago but I don't remember their music at all. This song is very enjoyable, it sounds new.. I'm surprised by how many bands are finding new sounds or adapting to new sounds.

Great song. Been into this band for years. Solid multiple albums.

This is my greatest band of all time. I dont think there is a band that has been around this long and have got better every single album. There is not one bad album, imo. The new singles just released are absolutely mind blowing, esp Spearmint Revolt and Sleep Explosion. Must check them out.

This not the Norma Jean I remember from my high school days.... check out Memphis Shall be Laid to Waste or anything from Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child. It's pure chaos in a good way. Joshua, their original singer, started a band called The Chariot after he left NJ, and they're definitely worth reacting too. Now he's in a band called the 68. Happy you enjoyed them though. Nothing wrong with bands evolving.

Norma Jean is gold, be it with Josh or Cory. Meridional is one of the best albums ever. I too would like to see a reaction to The Chariot, they are not reacted to enough, and they were an absolutely amazing band. Definitely recommend The City or David De La Hoz.

If i imagine that all their 9 records would sound like one album, it would be soooooooooooooooo boring. NJ provided great evolution of their music.

I've been listening to the band since Bless The Martyr too, but it's not relevant to discussion of NJ now. Cory's now been fronting the band for 7, soon to be 8, full lengths and 17 years. They moved on from the Botch worship by album 3.

I wasn't at all knocking them for evolving. They are still a great band. I was just stating it's different from what shaped my high school years and suggesting maybe they'd like listening to where they started from vs where they are now.
