Aww thanks so much! I did a lot of learning in the last year since I put this together, it'd be fun to try something like this again :)

I had to wait until dwelling of duels winners were announced. I was sitting on this one for a couple weeks! Thanks! It's got some rough edges since it's a bit out of my comfort zone, but I guess I have to start somewhere.

Thanks Will! I'm not sure how this will do so it's pretty far off my usual vibe, but I guess we'll see. I'm glad you liked it, and thanks for listening!

Wow what skill, I liked everything you did, and you did that guitar solo like a genius

Thanks Annalisa! I had a lot of fun making it, even if mixing it and hearing it 100 times permanently raised my heartrate and blood pressure from the HYPE! It's a good thing I had the chill song to work on to bring balance to the force

I think this is my favourite track from OT2 and this cover really does it justice. (edit: especially the violin solo at 1:18)

Thanks Erik and thanks for the request! I'm glad I was able to put together something that worked for you! I'm still learning how to put all the pieces together to do heavier covers, so thanks for bearing with me 😅

I like the switch up at 1:16 with the disappearing and reappearing. 😁 Sounds pretty awesome Shea! Interesting description also and it played out great in the end. You are seriously a one person production crew. Nice work! 👍 👍 🎸 🌟 🎻 🎶

Thanks! I'm glad some people are enjoying it, even if it was far more disliked than most of my music. I guess I'll have to practice at this stuff a bit more before I attempt something like it again.

@Shea's Violin You're welcome and what do you mean it's more disliked? This is top level stuff!

It's not getting very many likes per view and it has

I personally think analytics are extremely misleading and whoever would go out of their way to dislike this probably has nothing better to do. The joke is actually on them because I read a dislike is as strong as a like because it inspired engagement. Let the views stack up over time and I'm sure it will get better. It's still pretty fresh. Never get discouraged by these meaningless numbers. These uploads are for people that enjoy them, so chances are you might've just picked up a hater. Your work is always top shelf, and people like to troll unfortunately. I go out of my way to not pay attention to any of that. I found it to be more nonsense and stressful then anything, and I've since been much better off not caring. Just keep doing what you're doing and don't let those things bother you. Seriously, you're doing great and you're well on your way to reaching the 1k milestone, and it will indeed happen. If I had to make a guess, I would say this year. Keep up the great work and haters will be coming, but they shouldn't hold any weight. They are probably some arm chair critic that doesn't have any idea about all the work it truly takes to create something as great as what you do. Just my take on it. 🙂

Thanks for the perspective LTP! I think that it was likely some wider audience push since that happens whenever a video is first uploaded for me. It gets shown to a couple thousand people that aren't in my audience and have never seen my stuff before. So on the one hand, that signals to youtube that they are not in my audience because I didn't convince them to watch more of my stuff with that video. On the other hand I had an opportunity to reach a wider audience, and that's what's brought 250 new subscribers here over the past 3 months. At the rate things are going recently I'll get to that milestone really soon! My goal as of January 1 was to get to 700 by 2024, and that passed by a while ago!

IIRC, you did this for DoD last month right? I remember hearing this and thinking "if this is who I think it is, they really leveled up their arrangements" lol this was quite unexpected! I'm loving how diverse your arrangements have become. Really liked the guitar solo, really tasteful with the note choices, my favourite part is right at the end when you lean into the whole tone progression.
@SheaViolin Жыл бұрын
Yup that was mine! It didn't do so well, but it was definitely a stretch from what I normally do with a solo entry and at least I learned a few things. Maybe some day I'll have enough of this stuff figured out that I can manage a prog cover for you Brandon ;)
