Age if 22-23 takes less time Age if 30-35 takes more time Calm n composed then delivery easy and less time If anxious and impatient then delivery more time 1st pregnancy delivery takes more time Later pregnancy delivery takes less time Uterine contractions fast and more then delivery time less Uterine contractions less then delivery time more Natural pain then more delivery time Induced pain then less delivery time Pelvis shape size another factor that determines delivery time Active labour is the actual delivery time Early labour time is done at home that is opening from 1 cm to 4 cm Full dilatation is opening of atleast from 4cm to 10 cm When 10 cm opens then active labour starts . Uptill then early labour 1.5 hours required for 1 cm to dilate. For opening from 4 cm to 10 cm this is the active labour. First stage 2nd stage 1 hour or 1.5 hour full dilatation to full delivery of baby outside First baby total delivery time is 6-7 hours
