God, those fucking arrows must've taken so long to edit in. Unless you know some amazing super-tracking way that I don't. I've done some minor things like that in the past, frame by frame adjusting the arrows and holy hell is it time-consuming..

+Shilag You can add a text or a png overlay in most video editing software nowadays and key frame between the two points at the beginning and at the end of the clip you want. The computer will do all the inbetweens for you. Then you can fine tune it by adjust the animation curves (ease in, ease out). I've done the inbetweens myself before too, it's not fun.

Alexander Szopinski Sure, if it's smooth, straight lines. But with varying speeds and lots of curves, you basically have to get down to frame-by-frame if you want it to track correctly.

+Shilag Yup, more keyframes on the extremes of the animation, or when the ships change velocity. I didn't mean to downplay the amount of work that went into it. I think the video is very well put together. I especially like the subtle fade of the music at the beginning and the timing of the backflip with the crescendo.

+Shilag These were all straight lines tho

I'd be the eagle that smashes into the cops, and then makes a pretty explosion when I die, only to respawn 250ly away
