Cleared afcat with 210 marks (221 normalized). Thank you ma'am for current affairs series. You rightly said that SSB is not that tough but we have made it tough by thinking very much about it and trying to copy recommended candidates. In this process, we forget our real self. After all, SSB is a personality test and personality can't be changed in short period of time.

@@dikshasharma5542 sorry for late reply. Talking about preparation part, I didn't specifically prepare for afcat but I had prepared for CDS and also appeared for ssc cgl once. So I had an idea of syllabus. Then I solved previous year questions as well as mock test available on afcat website, from that I got to know my weak points and topics to focus on. I was doing around 77 questions in mock test and maths required attention. So I practised those topics of math and in exam I attempted 82. The extra questions attempted were from maths. So, you can also try solving mock test on afcat website and make your own strategy. And please remember that afcat is very easy compared to other exams, you can clear it easily. Best of luck.

My friend had 159 marks but after normalisation he got -21 and other friend had 136 marks he got 159 marks after normalisation

@@chaitanyachhatre3714 Seriously this was very hard. I was expecting atleast 180, but even after normalization barely 150. I was getting 150+ in all the Byju's Tests. In Testbook Test Series I was getting 220+. In Testbook Model Series I was getting around 160 before preparation. I don't know if Afcat has gotten very hard or what's wrong with my preparation. Please tell me how to file RTI, I atleast want to see my paper what went wrong. This was a huge shock to me, AFCAT is no more easier than CDS i guess, both are equally hard considering the latest GK questions of 2nd and 3rd day.

Screened out marks per depend nahi Karta. Even 200+ marks people get screened out

You won't be getting screened out based on your marks. You can go and give your best at afsb and can gain some experience. If you're recommended and clear medicals then only your marks will matter for the merit list.

Nope you'll get only one. Like you'll get call letter for afsb if you don't attend the afsb, then you'll get a chance to attend for ima. But if you appear for afsb it will count as your attempt and then you won't be getting another ssb

no, only Individual obstacles are different not the process

There is no difference between afsb and SSB. Only additional thing in afsb is cpss, that too is only for flying branch candidates. AFSB - Air Force Selection Board (Only for Air Force) SSB - Service Selection Board (For Army and navy)

Definitely prepare for it, as medical criteria and cpss is tough so very less candidates qualify for flying branch , hence there are high chances of merit in for u even with less score in written
