There is confusing of choosing null hypothesis or alternate hypothesis... you said in your video..if p value is greater than 5% then null hypothesis is can't rejected and means there is normality in your case,is this true?.This should be can reject null hypothesis and there is not normality in data.Please clarify.

Dear, there is a need to check the Normality of a distribution because a large number of statistical tests like ANOVA, t test etc are based on the assumption of Normality. If the data is not Normal then one need to run the non parametric tests.

There are various ways to deal with Non- normal data- log transformation, Box- cox transformation etc. Otherwise, as per my understanding one is concerned with normality in Time series data.
