when i am trying to run a heteroscedasticity test in my panel data, output shows Cross section Test and period test separately and I AM NOT ABLE TO SELECT BREUSH PAGAN TEST, it is by default doing Cross Section LR Test of both cross section and period..... what could be the reason for this?.... if i want to run breush pagan test on my data, how can it be done?

Is it Eviews 10 ? This should not happen though. Try following the video again. Hopefully, you will obtain the results. Good day!

I'm using Eviews 12. I tried to run the Heterostadisticiy test and received the following error message "Cross-section effects with period GLS weights not allowed." What is plan B to perform the test? I'm using the data converted in log format. Kindly regards,

You are choosing two options (cross-section) with (period GLS weights) which can not be performed together. Instead of (period GLS weights) choose another option.

Log of non negative number is not defined. Hence, work on your data set. There are various ways you can deal with it. You can refer such articles- blogs.sas.com/content/iml/2011/04/27/log-transformations-how-to-handle-negative-data-values.html
