Thank you sir for your great effort to make this channel. I have some questions: 1. Is it mandatory to enter all marc field or we can skip some, e.g. 'Parallel' field? 2. Can we format the class no.cell? eg. when we input 001.22 it gives the result 1.22 3. Some of the item types are not BK, but in the marcedit LDR/008 there is that drop down menu where we have to enter only one type e.g Books. Will entering item other than BK cause error? Thanks

Grateful! Yes, you can skip some fields, but some are mandatory. Watch all three videos in this series for more details. Yes, you can format the call number by using an apostrophe. You are right; however, I would recommend not touching the LDR and letting it remain as it is. You can change the item type with code.

I have uploaded 2 batches into Koha, and their status is showing as 'Importing' since two days. What could be the problem? Will choosing a different Framework help? If there are less fields in the uploaded file, will the Default Marc framework leave those fields empty?
