Very inspiring!! It just made me think that how as an architect i can do something to actually help others who are in need for a basic thing such as shelter!! I am trying to see if there is any humanitary volunteers near me so that I can do that!! Really hope each one of us can provide some help to the people in need!!

Post war architecture wasn't architecture it was shelter to house Jewish people from the Nazi's and also for the people who help save the Nazi's. Who were also descendants of Jews, so this migrant situation started from the Jews, who were the first migrants to enter Europe.

A little more than eighteen years ago, a prototype of L'unit was designed, tested and duplicated 120 times. It provided to the public, a view of what an emergency shelter could look like (Temporal...yet stable). This prefab 'village' quiet sits every year on the QPS Trinidad, with slight improvements every single carnival season(three months). lt is built with local labour and materials. lt's 'modular systems approach' can be easily adapted to address our housing challenge for refugees...or any other emergency events, like the hurricanes we have here. Peace.
