Your comment suggests what about you? That you are a Nazi pig. Go drink vodka before noon, as usual, and report back to this thread.

Both Mailer and Rose had great interviews with the Rauschmonstrum.

I would have liked very much to have asked Norman what he would have thought of "the smoking gun theory"....

If you're referring to the Kennedy assassination he wrote an excellent book about Oswald. He believed Oswald was a lone gun man and Jack Ruby killed him on a spur of the moment madness.

Ina bizarre scène from harlot, main character’s father takes him for a strange ‘brain operation’ when in his teens, prior to inducting him into the Agency...

I'd like this interview a lot more if I gained a sense from it that Charlie Rose had once, even once, read and loved the work of Norman Mailer. Minus that, this is just more Charlie Rose bullshit.

Rainy day activities for nerds :) change playback speed to 50% and watch. It’s off sync by about a second...just enough to clip out one word?

If Mailer had lived long enough to see Trump elected President and what the Republican Party has become, he would of died of shame.

“Shame”? What does that even mean? He was vindicated. He predicted someone like Trump was coming. Did you not ever see his later interviews? He warned of fascism creeping upon America. And he cited the craving of conservatives for a daddy figure. He was right on target.
