It's a shame because I have been subscribed to Normani's KZbin channel for years and I heard that she dropped 1:59 almost 24 hours after...because Bing News had it as one of their daily spotlight news for Saturday. Given the very little promo along with the current view numbers, Normani's team has 2 options: 1. Take this as a sign of how the album may be initially received come June 14 if they don't want to advertise and get the word out. Which at that point, they can choose to promote the hell out of Normani or stay mum. 2. Drop another single in May with a good amount of promo so there's more noise and hopefully better reception for when her album drops. Low promotion and/or surprise drops don't benefit an artist that hasn't been in the limelight for a while. Especially during a time where everyone is dropping new music, new albums, and announcing tour dates.
