hey so i finally got this CURSED video to export. i've been wanting to release this video since forever but it always got stuck when i tried to export it from imovie on my iphone. i moved the episode files with libby over to my mac and exported the video from here and VOILA it worked! so with all that being said, please enjoy the adorable deaf character we know as libby (played by millicent simmonds)

This was actually a super great episode bc a lot of deaf people don't just use sign language. Do you use a mix of quiet words especially when they are talking one on one privately. a lot of deaf people just don't speak because they don't know how loud are being or hear what they are saying. Can everyone just enjoy the character please

@@katrinbauer5003 Bruh. Deaf people learn to read lips. Many of them, like Helen Keller (who was deaf AND blind), learn to speak and use sign language. Reading lips also makes it easier to comprehend what people are saying ALONG with sign language.

I find it cool that when Libby made fun of Jonah by sticking her tongue out and Andi laughing, it was like there was a brief conversation there even if nothing was said and mainly just consisted of facial expressions. And this happens after Jonah says "Everyone stares at their phone" then proceeds to *look downwards* as if you were to look at your phone on your lap. He looks up after Andi laughs and doesn't understand what happened, emphasizing his ignorance towards what he needs to do to respect and communicate with Libby or deaf people in general.
