Leland, you're the man. He's the reason why and how I learned how to play the bass. Since I saw the Live in Berlin video with Phil Collins, I told myself, wow, he plays the bass that seems simple but with class and elegance.

Such a COOL BOOK.....I was one of the first 50 people that purchased the book when it first came out and Lelan was kind enough to Autographed it for US. It's a Great book for any Music buff's collection..

So wish I could have come out, not only to visit Lee, but to meet Norm and see this legendary store firsthand! I remember hearing about this wacky (and entirely awesome) idea for a "finger book" back around 2011 or 2012. Was beyond thrilled when it actually materialized!

I was working at a studio and Peter Asher brought Lee into play bass on a film soundtrack. Coolest guy ever. As nice a person as you’ll ever meet. Insisted I give him the finger so he could take a Polaroid. At first i refused but he insisted, saying everyone does it. I had no idea.

How much songs, hits, he was playing the bass in the studio session ? Unbelievable much, I remember me on We are all alone by Rita Coolidge, Fire and Rain by James Taylor, played with C,S,N, with Veronique Sanson, TOTO, Phil Collins collab (another day in paradise i.e., Rich girl by Hall and Oates, Running on empty by Jacksone Browne or I am woman by Helen Reddy, so congrats for this guest in your shop.
