But I believe it's the last to many risks messing with them lol. It sucks to buy something then have to send it back and wait for a new one lol.

The markings are from the presser feet of the sewing machine they used to make the sheath. Cheap leather machines do that.

Foot of the stitching machine, that's what makes those marks! I would never make a leather sheath with a machine. I hand stich all my own sheaths and they come out perfect. Most knife sheaths are crap.

The markings are from the tool they used to study of make the holes imo. When I make puukko sheaths I get the same effect or pattern sometimes. Look up Thompson Knives or Ragweedforge , you can buy your own blades and make um yourself. It's actually pretty fun, the handles always feel great cause they are your size.

@@REAPERMILITIAOUTDOORS I bought 2 Axes for medieval markets, the axes are pretty good but for knifes i would go with Helle Knifes from Norway, they make traditional knives by hand and they come with a razor sharp scandi grind.

I got the Condor Huron last week. Looked cool as f in the pictures I saw online. The one I got in the mail had flat spots on the edge, a burned dull tip like your Norse dragon and the sheath I got with it is bent out of shape. Ah well...lesson learned.

Those are Medieval Runes, they spell out "Condor". Much later period than Elder Futhark, about 12th to 15th century. Elder Futhark is pre-9th century.

From what I have found these writing's mean nothing to do with this knife or a dragon just saying. Thanks for watching this knife is shit. I like Condor but this is a terrible knife poorly made well mine is. My Huron is badass.

@@REAPERMILITIAOUTDOORS Im sorry about your knife, poor quality control i suppose. And as for the inscription, yes those are medieval runes or Futhork runes. The futhork evolved from the younger futhark runes by the 13th century. The inscription has nothing to do with dragons or the norse but it does spell out Konđor and seeing is how the companies name is Condor I consider it as somewhat of a maker's mark. The knife is just a love letter to traditional nordic knives and reminds me alot of my Helle Viking. Cheers mate.

Sorry about your luck. Looks like the one reviewer on Amazon had a really bad knife too. Condor should definitely work with you on a exchange or something, they did me good with my Swamp Romper I had issues with.

Not worth the money and have still not heard anything from them. Contacted twice in a email Instagram Tags nothing. Sucks because everyone says they have great customer service.

I remember that when you used to buy Buck knives the paper or owners manual that came with the knife guaranteed you a 100% perfect product through their pride and honorable ethics . I wonder if such ethics have vanished . what is next medication made over seas with weird unknown ingredients mixed in to save a penny or two ?

hi again just for you to know I live in Canada and just a few years ago I bought 4 BRK two were crap and I was told to send them back after several attempt of getting in touch with their Q.C. department however I saw the video with Forestwalker111 with his Aurora knife and that he had to send it to them more than once I decided to eat my loss and never buy except custom made stuff if I was going to pay the high dollar however next time if I was going to buy production made knives I will buy from Benchmade Spyderco Buck knives if they are American made because such companies proved for several years that their service towards Q.C. and warranty are good and trusted . all the best to you .

Sucks but I guess I might have to cut Condor off as well, and that really blows because there was so many knives I wanted to get lol. I'm a huge fan of PKS (Pathfinder knife shop) by far the best quality I've dumped my hard earned money on. Mountain man tough, tested and beat to death by me. My Junglas by Esee is amazing and they have a no bs warranty and I love that. LaRocca knives are wow another mountain man tough company that I've tried and tested and beat the shit out of. After spending thousands of dollars on gear I've learned it's best to get that gear you'll just know has a good wrap and tough stuff. That's why I started these videos and this channel, well one of many reasons but I could have saved a lot of money if I did better research as well lol. So many knives so many options big companies really don't care what they put or supply. I like buying different knives and try to give them a chance.

Honestly aside from the runes and the tip its really not all that bad. Especially considering the martials used. Like if you wanna be a nitpicky dick about it sure. But it works, its sharp, and its fairly inexpensive. All things considered it seems worth it.

Yeah this is poo really not the knife for me I'm to rough with my tools. This knife wouldn't serve much purpose in my areas unless for food prep or carving. The handle came loose from light work. I mean you seen what I did with this thing, not put together well at all. I'll stick with my Marttiinni blades. And are put together stronger at least in my experience so far. Been thinking about getting a helle knife in the future maybe.

i own both the helle viking and helle saga sigler, same knife but the saga sigler is a bit smaller, condor does have one small knife im getting, its the otzi, but condor mostly do great machetes

Most definitely some knives are just met for that cutting small stuff. I usually carry two knives in the woods my beefy don't mess around knife and my carving knife. An a multitool as well and a couple self defense blades but there small and only for protection.
