You are simply wrong, he does not cover the entire Planet, or Earth itself. You are misinterpreting. All mythologies, Greek, Norse, Egyptian are on the same planet, they are just cut off by oceans of water, which is how Kratos was able to get to Norse mythology. After Poseidon's death, the sea levels in Greek plain rose up, which made it so Kratos was able to SWIM to the next mythology, which was Norse. If the snake was able to cover the ENTIRE WORLD (All pantheons). Every pantheon would know, and it would be mentioned at least somewhere. Giants preceded the titans creating the Four Elements of the world. The titans crafted those elements into the fundamental characteristics of the world and the gods finalized the creation of our world according to the myth. The Norse giants are completely different from Greek giants and are more akin to the greek titans or gods.

I read a comic which detailed the war against the Titans. The Titans, especially Kronos, were generally stronger than the Olympian gods and the gods either flat-out lost or forced a stalemate. Then Zeus got a gift from his uncles, the first generation of Cyclops (not the ones Odysseus meets but bigger, more alien-like versions birthed by Gaia.). That gift was the Thunderbolt, the only thing the Titans were vulnerable to. He one-shotted almost all the Titans with it, and hen had an epic clash with Kronos, the Thunderbolt breaking through his defenses and hitting him so hard he got knocked out.

Thor doesn’t lose to the titans. He went toe to toe with Kratos and made Kratos show him his unrestrained side and he ate that punch. Afterwards he fights a more serious and controlled Kratos that uses all his power but with more control than ever and that fight was again, very close. The God of War 2018 novelization had Kratos talking about how powerful Baldur was stating how his blows were some of, if not, the strongest blows he’s ever felt. The gods of the Norse realms aren’t a joke dude

The fight wasn’t close the only thing that was close were their weapons which kratos was using weapons several times more powerful than mjolnir and the leviathan axe combined (such as the blade of Olympus) against the titans and he didn’t eat that punch kratos broke his teeth the teeth are the hardest part of your body 3. Kratos didn’t say anything about baldurs blows he said THORS blows at FULL FORCE were AS HEAVY as any he’s ever felt now I will remind you unlike Thor kratos has never taken a full force swing to the face with mjolnir from a titan he’s never even taken a full force swing from a titan the closest he’s ever been to that is when Cronus tried squashing him but if you haven’t guessed the middle of your palm is very soft maybe stop trying to make up random bullshit and actually accept the fact that Thor is weaker than the titans and the giants lose miserably

I've been writing a series where all the mythologies exist in the same world. And i just figured to make the titans and giants were the same, Ymir birthed Odin, Osiris and Kronos (and others). Making Thor, Horos and Zeus cousins. Other parallels that I've used include Hephestus crafting the lightning inside Mjolnir, and that Helios, Amun-Ra, and Sol being the same person. One of my favourites is Prometheus being imprisoned while the Aesir killed the fire giants, and in his rage the titan broke from his chains and burnt Asgard to the ground... becoming known to them as Surtr, the last fire giant.

There are actually giants in Greek mythology too, distinct from titans. The titans are one race of beings that came from Gaia, and the Giants, or gigantes, are a separate and distinct race that also fought the olympians. There was the titanomachy, the war where the titans and Olympians fought for dominance, and the Gigantomachy where the giants fought the Olympians.

Giants/titans were not always seen as titans but were in fact 2nd generation of gods (their leader being Enlil) just grew old and lost power when Enlil's succesor lost to Enlil's half brother(Zeus/Baal H'adad/Indra) who then took power an the new geneation of people who worshipped the new gods had to demote the previous gods and called them giants. This is just a theory tho, I'm not to sure about zeus being halfbrother, or just taken under the wng of eki when Anu killed Alalu who were first generation gods..

So, talking about the main mythos of both pantheons the Titans were like the Olympians. they were both breeds of gods. The Giants, Jotun, of the Norse Mythos, wren't GIANT giant, it's just a word that we equate to them. But they weren't all gods. And they were very killable. While the Asier and Vanier WERE gods and could easily smite them. Norse myths had stories of giants dying all the time, while barely any Asier gods die until you get to Ragnarok.

Titans are more elemental based than the norse Jotnar. While there were Fire and Frost giants the titans were the very bones of the greek mythos. Gaia was the earth itself, Oceanus was the sum total of all the worlds oceans, Perses was the Titan of Volcanoes and Volcanic destruction, etc.

Neither the titans or the giants in norse mythology are incredible big. They were human sized for the most part. They can also shape shift pretty easily so size is really pointless
