Fun to see someone reacting to this, I was one of the vikings at the table at the feast, and I was a production assistant for the series, driving the actors and actresses to and from the set. They really were a fun bunch of people, and it's fun to see people enjoy the series. :)

Thanks for your efforts. This is probably the funniest show ever made. I taught in an art department at a university for 10 years as a non-artist, so Rufus' motivations and the art references are freaking hilarious.

This is a HILARIOUS show! I found this show on Netflix back in May and fell in love with it. In the first episode, some of the actors looked familiar to me and then it hit me at the end of the episode where I've seen them before. It's alot of the same actors, writers and producers from Lilyhammer. If you haven't seen Lilyhammer then you have GOT to watch it. The second season of Norsemen has aired in Norway but it's not on Netflix yet.

Most people speak better than that, but it's set in the year 780 and they've of course had to dumb it down a little. I've heard several of the actors in the series speak English and they're much better than what they show on Vikingane.

In the new season you will get that story how they got married. The 3rd season is called season 0, because its from the time before season 1. You should watch season 3, its verry fun :)

I love how they joke with this conception that at a certain period all people from a place believe in the same ridiculous things. So many historians have this wrong conception. I love this show for showing it like "look folks, this is ridiculous, of course it was never like that".

If you guys want to see the vikings city in this series for real , its just like 10 min with car to drive from a City named Haugesund south of Bergen in Norway. i lived there 5 years ago and visit the viking-city with my girlfriend and my son and we hadd alot of fun there... you can see how all kind of viking stuff is made from food to sword and also see viking aktors @t can by hot food there also. Skål !!...as we say here in Norway bye :-) sorry i forgott to say i love this series to!!! ps sorry for my verrrry bad english writing ;-)
