A mainstay DJ in the booming scene of his native Mexico City - Covagrooviest forged his name at the now infamous underground cumbia parties of Nazas. Currently he runs the music program and can be found DJ’ing every weekend at Choza CDMX as well as touring his cumbia deep cuts and rare mezcales across Europe and Asia.
"This is a mix of Mexican and Chicano cumbia, Norteñas, and Banda tracks that I grew up listening to in San Luis Potosí and Southern California."

I am 39 yrs old. Most of these tracks are from the Techno-Banda era, the "Quebradita" era. I am glad My Analog Journal and Covagrooviest made a space on their channel for such an incredible era that I am sure will bring back memories to many of us. Maybe younger generations might familiarize with some tracks as I am sure their parents might listen to or even still play some of these tracks in Quinceañeras. La segunda canción habla de una ralacion impropia entre un hombre adulto y una persona menor de edad. Eso no está bien y no se puede encubrir como "cultural" o "artístico".
