Yes I know it! I live in north alabama all my life. It is a beautiful state with more activities to do outside than you can imagine. I love our state and disappointed hearing people criticize my state when they never spent quality time in alabama. I've been to all 50 states and they all are beautiful in their unique way.

Thanks for sharing your travel videos, especially this one from North Alabama. I grew up in North Central Alabama (Decatur) and still visit the area from time to time as I have family living there. The mighty Tennessee River is a great place to be around for camping, fishing and water skiing. I also attended and graduated from the University of North Alabama there in Florence. I especially enjoy your hiking adventures as I myself have been section hiking the Appalachian Trail starting in 2023 and continuing on this year 2024. Keep up the travels and looking forward to seeing more of these amazing videos.

My wife and I hiked Stephens Gap Cave and it was awesome! Not too long and its nice and cool in the cave and you can hang out and really cool down. We loved it! We did the same with the helmets. We got Bicycle helmets and I 3D printed mounts for headlamps.

Beautiful video! I grew up in north Alabama, and know most of those places. I don't usually think caving is my thing, but you made that cave look so beautiful I might have to overcome my fear! I think you visited at the perfect season. Any earlier and the leaves aren't on and there is no shade; any later and the heat gets brutal. Thank for showcasing our state!

Born and raised in Florence AL . Very small town vibe with a happening college scene. Very beautiful nature too. Now I live in Spokane WA and love it up here as well. I do miss the green nature, thunderstorms, and the crickets at night. Hope you guys enjoyed downtown. It's a hidden gem for sure but I enjoy the mountains out west too much

Alabama local here. We're definitely an underrated state (which helps keep it uncrowded!). There are a number of other beautiful spots here, but I think that Little River Canyon deserves special mention. A lot of people here consider it the most scenic place in the state.

Hey Wesley! We had a blast in Alabama and were really blown away! We planned to check out Little River Canyon, but it is National Park managed site and they require a permit to film there. We reached out about getting a permit and never heard back.

So my mother's cousins were the Trowbridges who lived in John Day, Oregon, and were ranchers. That part of her family came over on the Oregon trail. So I guess there's a possibility that there's sort of a distant cousin thing with the ice cream parlor. Cool!

Oh, those nature sounds - love hearing the birds and water and everything else stirring around you! On our way to summer camp every summer we stop at Little River Canon and hike down to our favorite swimming hole. I found this place while kayaking the river. The scouts and their parents love it and always want to come back. It is a short 20 min hike down to the river, along hugh overhanging cliff's. There are usually some climbers on the rocks on the weekend. On our way out we pass by Little River Falls and Desoto Falls. During the winter we take one of the week long holidays and set up camp somewhere and do day trips each day around he area. While the walls of Jerico is relative new but has gotten really popular. Most people don't realize how much there is to do in north Alabama.

I had no clue that the highest point in Arkansas at mtn magazine 2753 feet was taller than the highest point in Alabama mind blown. Figure since the smokies are there they'd just be taller. Both are referred to as islands in the sky. Very beautiful oasis yall stumbled on and absolutely gorgeous hiking

Thanks for showcasing our area of northwest Alabama. And it was pretty cool to see you guys head down to Brush Creek Park, down in the Wright community. Where the volunteer fire station is located right before Brush Creek, those houses across the street from the VFD is where my mother grew up back in the 1950's, and 60's. Hope yall at least took the quick trip to Waterloo, and get a glimpse of one of the first incorporated towns in Alabama. I'm sure yall didn't get to visit Tom Hendrix's wall in Lauderdale County, off the Natchez Trace Pkwy. If you don't happen to know what that wall is about, you should look it up. It's a very heartwarming story. And if you already knew? Then hey! You're ahead of the game lol. You guys imo picked the best part of Bama! Hope Kona got well really quickly, and got to enjoy more adventures with you two. Loved this! And yeah! DeSoto Falls has a cave you can freely go in. A short side trail on the way back would have take you to it - called the Ice Cave
