I have been to Yosemite many times and it’s my favorite national park of all the ones I have visited so far…I don’t think any other park can bump it off it’s #1 position for me. You both did an amazing job showcasing how spectacular it is. Thanks so much for your content, I love your videos! Looking forward to seeing you and Kona on your next adventure. ❤

I wanted to thank you for getting the permit so that you could film in the park. As a Californian, Yosemite is the only national park I have visited multiple times, but I haven't been there in many years. Usually when I watch your videos, it is to see places I either hope to visit or to see places I cannot visit myself. It was wonderful watching this video and remembering the many beautiful places I have seen in Yosemite. As always, your videos are awesome!

Tuolumne Meadows is my favorite base camp destination in Yosemite. I generally plan on arriving the East side of the park in mid to late-September, when the crowds have abated and the cold nights have addressed the mosquito population. However, the tourist crowding in the valley is too high even in late-September for my full enjoyment.

When I was little, I used to get to go camping in Yosemite on a regular basis. I remember getting up at night to use the bathroom, and bears would be roaming the woods freely, and we were not scared, they did not bother us! I love Yosemite, we are so lucky to have that park here in Cali.

We did the "fast tour" in April, two days driving in the truck and stopping at the points of interest along the way, without going on any of the hikes (we did walk Bridalveil Falls and Yosemite lower falls carrying our 10 lb Chiweenie). We had our dog with us, so we managed what we could and still had a great time. We needed weekend permits to enter, and our stay at the nearby Yosemite RV Resort campground worked out well for us (nearby to the Park and dog friendly). We'll probably go back for another visit in a few years to do it all over again. Cheers! Pete in Arizona - KI7LIL

You really packed a lot in that first day with the hiking and biking! We were at Yosemite in 2015 and enjoyed 3 days there but after watching this video, we have got to go back! Plus there was a “control burn” and there was some smoke covering the mountains, sometimes. It was mid-October and we had sunny, mid to high 80 degree temps. (I was expecting cooler weather and brought my long underwear! ). Another wonderful video; so glad you got to share the park with your parents!

Awesome job (as always)!! You captured Yosemite’s splendor admirably even with the filming permit limitations. Seems like they may need to add different tiers to these commercial permits. Ridiculous that a vlogger would have to jump through these hoops. Looks like you had an amazing time and were able to see so many different areas of the park. Yosemite is just so incredible. It is like it was designed with intent. Your video got me very psyched up. I will be there in two weeks with my oldest. Yosemite is my absolute favorite park. This will be my second visit and will have to pleasure of doing Half Dome again and this time it wont be solo. Planning to do Clouds Rest too but will need see how the bodies are feeling.

Thanks, Michael! The permits are definitely a pain and to be honest we're done with filming national parks (we did film one more after this) until they revise it a bit 😅. There are just too many hoops to jump through. We're glad our video got you excited! As you know Yosemite is out of this world and is worth going back again and again! What a wonderful video of my favorite place in the world! I first went there in 1958 when my family moved to California. Yosemite is number one on my list of favorite National Parks. We used to live 40 miles from it, but even though I might be biased, it is just "magical" (as you said). We visited the park many times, even in winter. You're right that Yosemite has so many things to see. There is such a variety. Great video of Yosemite! I’ve been to the top of Yosemite Falls many times and it can be brutal during hot weather. I’ve seen people go up there without water and doing so is a mistake. I once saw people on that Lost Arrow next to Yosemite Falls which is crazy. My favorite hike was going to the summit of Clouds Rest. You don’t have the crowds like Half Dome and the view is incredible from there. Another one was Waterwheel Falls which is some distance but during spring runoff it is an awesome sight to see.

It's cool to see adults visiting the park for the first time with cameras that can film. The first time I went, I was 10 years old in the 1970s, so my reaction probably wasn't what it should've been. I don't think we took any pictures. There were very few people there, and we rented a cabin. I mostly remember the raccoons outside the cabin because I wasn't familiar with raccoons at that point. We went hiking, but there is so much amazing scenery where we live in Idaho and we traveled all over the country regularly. The point is that the USA has incredible natural features and only some of them in parks.

That's a day! Years ago we did the Four Mile Trail, Panorama, and down the Mist Trail. So I guess your route in reverse! It's an epic day hike!

You guys are awesome and I sincerely appreciate your videos. My wife and I chose the Eagle River South Fork trail because of you. 😂 We also plan on heading to Wrangell-St.Elias next year; somewhat due to your inspiration. Thank you for all the wonderful and informative videos, A&K.
