North America By Train, Part 11: We're Back Aboard The Amtrak California Zephyr, Denver To Chicago

Hey, it's Gail and David! Join us as we circle Canada and the United States entirely by train. Starting in Winnipeg, we will take trains to Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington DC, New York City, Toronto and, finally, back to Winnipeg. Did we mention..entirely by train!
In Part Eleven, we reboard Amtrak's California Zephyr to continue our journey from San Francisco/Emeryville to (unexpectedly) Denver and, now, on to our destination, Chicago. Join us as we cross the midwest, still cloaked in a heavy coat of fresh snow, remnants of a major winter storm that (thankfully) ended just last night. This is the first California Zephyr train in five days that has managed to get east of Denver.

Just love the thought of being on a train watching the snow covering everything, as the train makes its way along the tracks. Enjoying your videos. Have been to Chicago a couple of times (only in Winter & gee it is cold). Mind you not as cold as when I was visiting my son in Ottawa, your capital, in winter, he was attending Charlton University on exchange. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said 'It's not the destination, it's the journey,'. Train travel sure does provide an interesting journey - especially when you get to meet & talk to fellow travelers - something you often don't, get to do, especially on other modes of transport. Looking forward to viewing your Chicago experience
