i lived in North Bay for two years.. 1969-1970.. found my way up there with a Toronto band called "Buckstone Hardware".. the band folded after several months, and i remained there..put my own band together called "Peg Leg".. and enjoyed tow of the HAPPIEST years in all my life... and i'll NEVER forget those wonderful memories of North Bay... "the magical place" :)

I now retired after living and working in North Bay almost 20 years. I must object to that reply about shootings like Timmins. I am sure there is some drug problems coming in as the college population expanded some ten years ago, but the local economy also expanded with lots of new businesses. I still think it’s a safe and great place to bring up a young family, even tho I have recently left for the big city. Good luck all!

Candore College is a well-reputed community college in North Bay. There is also Nipissing University in North Bay for higher studies. Both has shared campus at 100 College Drive.

It is a community college, which has campuses in North Bay and Parry Sound in Ontario. Parry Sound is a smaller city as compared to North Bay.

nope ! all the mills up north shut down and that kinda killed North Bay and then the Air force moved the fighter squadron so its all gov't and retired now

@@mickeypaul6980 North Bay has been dying for a long time. Looked a lot like this (with out snow) when I was last there in the summer of '19. As somebody that visits once a year you can see the decline. When the chain stores moved into the burbs people followed them rather than support local businesses.

A place to sleep is the arena, soon to close, old O.P.P. station, new home, 16 units is not nearly enough for all. Goddamn heat makes me sick. Move along a masked Timmies employee told me one day as I sat trying to breath. Almost all wear masks, breath my own used oxygen I cannot do. Many tell me true that. Cleaner it is for the most, many masks litter the streets, Thank you to all that participate in the work it does take, discusting job it be keeping up on the garbage so many throw, leave. Goddamned lazy humans be, making demands on others selfishly, Entitled humanity, society. H.O.P.E.S, FLATE RATE TOWING... Community Hero's Do much for noth8ng Clean up after Bi-Law shuts them down, Goddamned pain in the ass they are, shift, shift, move again, leave a filthy mess. There is NO HOUSING, hence on the streets y'all will see us. Fed up I so am with the World's, Government's BANDAID games of hope. Help comes from those that have a heart, not driven by selfish greeds...
