In the words of George Clinton your funk is the best, I love it... you're the best/#1 HCBU marching band in the country in my book, hands down I've been watching you guys perform, for several years now. And let me tell you you never disappoint you always keep it 100! I gots to put you on my bucket list, I'm sure seeing the show live would a more dynamic & Lively experience, now...that's how you throw down...NCAT style, A big shout-out from D-TOWN! 😀👏👏👏👍👍✌

Can somebody explain the tradition of having lil man on the drum! I mean he doesn’t miss a step. How is he selected and is he at all the band practices? He’s incredible and a joy to watch on these videos.
@JordanStuffGamer4 жыл бұрын
ptoyman I don’t think it’s a tradition they said he used to come to the games and learned the cadences off of KZbin because he lives in DC

NCAT is much more conservative in their marching than in the past. All that Tuba build up and they did nothing but hold them in the sky. Cold Steel and GDs are the same. Back in the 80s we were rockin the tunnels. Every section did something on the march in. The tubas absolutely showed out. They would go to the sideline and do a whole routine before marching in. Overall the band is great though. Much better than we were back then. The tunnels kind of suck nowadays though.

Can somebody explain to me the reason the girls have to stare the drummer in the eyes when they first start dancing.

Jokes! We are voted one of the top hbcu bands. This video recording is garbage though.
@itsvenises25205 жыл бұрын
Far from being the weakest. In fact this band is quite the opposite.

Oh, Hell to the NO! Would I allow my child to dress like that and dance provocative in a school event. Looks like a bunch of hoochies on display.
@contrarianthinker5 жыл бұрын
Nolom Ebal looks like an African dance but hey it’s just your opinion but opinion are just like assholes everybody has 1
@NolomEbal445605 жыл бұрын
@contrarian thinker - It doesn't look like any African dance I've ever seen. What they are wearing doesn't look African either.
@contrarianthinker5 жыл бұрын
Nolom Ebal you got to be tripping right just look past all that and feel the 🥁 drum and just maybe you will understand but hey it’s not for everybody
@NolomEbal445605 жыл бұрын
@contrarian thinker - I didn't say the music was bad. I love African Music. I'm old school. Women are supposed to be respected. I disagree with the attire from the waist down. Who ever decided they should wear gold under pants or short shorts, should be fired. Dressing like that does not earn them the respect they deserve. I find it hard to believe a parent, especially a father, would agree to their daughter dressing like a pole dancer in a strip club. Would you allow your daughter to be on display in public dressed like a hoochie? Maybe when you have children, you'll understand my point.
@contrarianthinker5 жыл бұрын
Nolom Ebal you was talking about the dance and how they were dressed the dancing is African and all school dancers dressed liked that even the white schools 🏫 but oops you didn’t see that I guess and old fool how you think you got here your momma was provocative towards your daddy “old fools was once young fools”
