Hello Roy, first of all, what a sweet little boat, large enough to be comfortable, but nice and small to discover all those beautiful inlets. Many thanks for your vids, I find them really enjoyable, and they easily prove that you don't need a superyacht to enjoy cruising.

Thanks Neil, I'm glad you caught that point! When I first started looking at boats, a mid sized cruiser would cost $200 in just fuel for a days outing and there was no way I could afford this. I became focused on finding cheaper ways to enjoy the water. All my boats try to fit in the most comfort into a small budget. Some friends bug me to get bigger motors but don't get that this may lead you to not going out because it becomes unaffordable! I try to go with smaller but right sized! BestRoy

Howdy Roy, you might consider putting up another video of you boating in the winter. Your boat extends the season significantly. You have a lot more subscribers now, and they may not realize just how versatile the design is.

Great idea Moose! I take it for granted but I'll show some clips from days gone by. We are out late in the season but it is hard to get an open ramp when the snow flies! Trust me , I look every season but when a dump comes that would look great on the water, I can't launch! I need perfect conditions, One season we were on the water Christmas day but there was no snow! Lol! Take care Moose! Thanks for the helpful suggestion! BestRoy

Maybe ive not noticed, do you have a radio ie, Marine, ham, gmrs, etc also, it seems like you could use a depth finder on board as well.
@roydesignedthat3 жыл бұрын
A hand held VHF but no depth sounder although I have one but never bothered to mount. The reason is we see well in front and are so often in shallow water that it is pointless to warn me about it! Lol!

It might be a great idea to have an on board radio and a ht (hand held unit) so you could have communication with the boat during any excursions or emergencies. A solar system might serve you well. I am glad you have a stove on board too! . There is a device called a devil watt that can produce power from the heat of the stove. Check into that. I do enjoy your adventures. These are just ideas.

@@TheSoball358 the 9.8hp outboard has an alternator. I was intending on using solar but have not had the need as we travel most days the battery is always charged. After 9yrs use we could use a new battery though but with the motor also having a pull start and electric start all has worked fine but we do keep things simple drawing very little power!. BestRoy
