I came to your video thinking you were biking the NC 500 which I want to do in a year or two. Still love the video though! Went to see my grandfathers home with my daughter in 2017. Love the Scottish people! Nicest people I've ver met! Can't wait to go back. All the best from California

Thank you. Unbelievably gorgeous. My parents immigrated from Europe and to this day I don't know why. Canada is beautiful, very beautiful. But it's so big and things are so inaccessible if you want to see the unusual things, that it's almost useless. But to add to that too is that we have no history here. There's nothing like Europe.

Nice video. Scotland is one of my favourite places in the world, especially the highlands. And I'm English. We drove to the top 18 months ago, camped at Durness. Big storm during the night.

Speaking as a Scot, I guess from your video that you enjoyed your trip! The whole 500 miles cover some great rugged scenery. Well done for tackling the Bealach na Bo, it can be intimidating, but is one of the most spectacular roads in Britain.

That was indeed a great wee film, covering so much in a short video. I loved seeing places (Like Smoo cave) which I haven't managed to get to yet. Stirling castle is my favourite (my icon picture was taken there, honestly I don't dress that way normally!) Perhaps this summer. Our hiking group had a long weekend in the Torridn area last year and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery. No video of that unfortunately but I am now into YT and am trying preserve as many of our mountain hikes as possible (it takes a fair bit of time and effort as you know). Now you have covered a great chunk of the mainland next time check out more of the islands. I am a huge fan of CalMac ferries so will be featuring more of them as I cycle out and about from now on. Glad you had a great time. By the way, I sympathise with driving on the 'wrong side': on our recent Menorca holiday (see 'Chill' video) we hired one and had to drive on the 'wrong side' too but you do soon get used to it don't you? Haste ye back!

Do a week up North every year. June is usually decent but even if its not, a decent set of waterproofs results in a week of two wheel ecstasy. Best roads on the planet and the single tracks are like your own personal rollercoaster

Hello, Aydin, hope you're ok. I did the NC500 back in 2015. Whatever you do, make sure you do the road to Applecross (maybe do it twice, it's a nice little loop). Stunning drive, and the surrounding landscape is cathedralesque; it really is that amazing.!! Hope you enjoy your trip, mate, and greetings from England .. :-) Here's a video that someone filmed driving the Applecross Pass (Bealach na Ba) kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3KwY3yQqqlkeac
