Not Canadian, but love the Rankins. The sisters have the voices of angels. Their version of Never Alone got me through losing my mom. RIP John Morris and Raylene. All my love and best wishes to Jimmy, Cookie, Heather, and all their family. Thank you.

Memories of my childhood. My Mom would always play the Rankins. Reminds me of home in Nova Scotia and summers at the Cottage in Lismore. It always amazes me the power of music to bring back memories. So Nostalgic. I'm living on the West Coast now but picture the beautiful coastlines of Cape Breton in the summer, its heaven on earth.

Yeah they drove you all nuts with envy to run you out so they can sell drugs and traffick your children. It's why your economy is gone. Hope you had a nice life on the west coast!

This was the first Rankin song I heard and it hooked me on their music forever. I'm sorry I never got to see them perform live. Their music is so uplifting, it could bring me out of the darkest funks. Still sounds as good today as it did in 1993.
