Back in the day a friend had a Prairie Dog as a pet. So smart and lovable! Litter trained and when she was ready for bed she would go to her home and close the door behind her! Her lab and P.D. would play together all the time. Elora will always remember you guys stopping to let her see those beautiful horses. Love love loved this video. The Bad Lands is on the bucket list. Thank you again!💟

Those are the cutest lil things! We went to a pet shop long ago when my son who's now 37 but was about 6 then, saw some in a huge enclosure but you stick fingers in, and it had a sign PLEASE DO NOT STICK FINGERS INSIDE WE CAN BITE. So i told him, do not put your fingers inside! I turned around and I'll bet you 100 you know what he did😂 and yep they bite alright and hang on😂. The owner felt so bad, i said no it was his fault for not listening to mom.. geez kids will really test you all the time lol. Love you guys! Thanks for sharing!! ❤😊

I lived in North Dakota from 1975-1988. Didn't realize until this video how much I miss it. Horseback riding through Teddy Roosevelt Park was my 1x a year treat. State Fair was in Minot where I lived, so I was there every day & heard so many great bands for free sitting outside the arena. It's too bad you didn't have time to go up north to the Peace Gardens. It is on the Canadian/ North Dakota border & just beautiful. Flowers planted everywhere, including a clock. Fountains and statues/monoliths, etc. Maybe another time.

There were always tons of buffalo also i dont know if they were buffalo or bison i didn't know until recently there was a difference

Never made it to North Dakota when I went out west but did spend time in South Dakota and Wyoming. So many wonderful things to see in just the scenery alone. Early 90s when I did my trip and saw the Crazy Horse memorial in the beginning stages. Did you know there is or was a legend among the Sioux nation that the memorial would never see completion. Your trip has made me want to redo my trip!!

Wow, how awesome. You are doing what I love best, watching wildlife. When a guy asked me on a date and what I wanted to do. My answer was always ride through the mountains look for wildlife. Buddy you telling Elora to look up if they bite, good patenting there. My mother would always give the answer to our homework questions. I hated it. Because I would have a harder time with my assignments. After I just did my homework before mom set as down to do it. Things got so much easier.

I used to work with women from Haiti and Africa who ate bentonite clay every day at lunch . The clay is mined and extracted in thin solid slabs then cut into strips like KITKAT candy which made it easy to eat .It was like eating peanut brittle .I never tried it and made fun of them for eating dirt .They say the minerals are good for pregnant women .Then one of them had a miscarriage at work .This clay can be bought at African markets for eating .
