Cheers buddy, I'm super proud of Dee too, she was awesome as a crew and it is very hard work crewing for a race like that. It was a super tough course and with the hot weather thrown into the mix it really tested me, I was dragging myself around parts of the race! It has been a pleasure to share the experience mate and great that you have enjoyed it.

Well done. Great viewing. I've just completed the PCT this summer and I'm looking into keeping the hiking/trail momentum going. Interested in an ultra (100 eventually) so I'm going to binge watch your channel for a while 😂 Thanks for sharing.

The distance seems unmarked. Was it easy to find a trail, especially during the night. Did you use GPS on the phone?
@DazStaley6 жыл бұрын
It followed The North Downs Way which is a public footpath but it was also marked by the event organisers and it was very well done. There was no need for GPS
@andrispetersons82406 жыл бұрын
@@DazStaley Thank you for your answer. You are my role model since you ran the Race to the King. I really afraid to lose the trail during the night. :) Do they provide runners with energy gels and protein drink at stations?
@andrispetersons82406 жыл бұрын
Will you run this year again?
@DazStaley6 жыл бұрын
Getting lost was something I was really worried about but the course was very well marked and I didn’t go off track once. The aid stations are very well stocked will all sorts of food, fruit, drinks, gels etc
@DazStaley6 жыл бұрын
I’m not running this race but I will be running one of their other 100 mile races, this time the A100 😄
