Swati, listen carefully please. I am from Assam and know the area very well. So, giving you the advice. You already have a sign that you are not fully prepared to control a massive bike. First, during winter sub Himalayan region like North East and Assam is very dangerous for travel, no matter it is air, train, road or ferry. Heavy fog is very deadly here. Foregt nights, even in day it is a very dangerous to maneuver. Though roads in NE has improved much, but still not 100% safe. A blind turn, a upcoming vehicle, a fast over take is deadly. 2. Cold is very deadly here. Specially in Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Bhutan etc which are directly part of Himalayan weather. In few parts it snows heavily which makes life dangerous. A broken bike, a freak accident, a road block can be very fatal for a biker. 3. Last but not least. Support like Police, Ambulance takes hours and hours to arrive. A RSA is non existent. Most of the bike brand's service is not existent after Assam. My final advice - 1. Don't compete with Deep. They are different types of beast. 2. If you want to travel to NE is December and January, come by air or train or other local drivers vehicle. Don't be oversmart and use your bike or car. 3. The best time to visit NE by bikes and cars is September- October and February-March when the rain and flood is less. Cold has not come. Fog is not here. 4. Please avoid NE during November, December and January of you are biker or car people. Unless you came from Alaska or Canada where you know the risk very well, you will end end up with regret. Really?? I disagree. Maybe 10-15% true. What you're saying was true around 15 yrs ago. Trust me nowadays at least in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal, Nagaland (Till Kohima) situation has much improved. There are 5 star hotels in Meghalaya and Arunachal. Shillong will soon hv it's very own 7 star hotel. What else do u need? Regarding bike riding, it'd be just like riding in states like Uttarakhand, Himachal, etc which I think you already have ridden through.💕💕🩷🩷

She is not experienced enough for NE rides, specially in the brutal winter colds, fogs and bad roads. I don't understand why her parents allowing her. In NE roads, a small first mistake can be the last biggest mistake. I am from Assam and we don't travel at all in November, December and January. The cold is heavy and roads are become very dangerous.
