Excellent review I own this watch and has been great very similar to a tissot on a budget I highly recommend this as a good quality tool watch.

Thank you for the comment. An unknown AliExpress option and I’m glad to see others including yourself enjoying it.

Very helpful review and comments. I just ordered one after hesitating for more than a year. This just might be one of those hidden gems as far as value goes. I also ordered their North Edge Snow Leopard which might be even a better value.

Thank you. I gave this watch to a friend of mine and he's loving it. The step counter is a huge plus to him. I do like it and I think it's a contender for one of the best outdoor watches (non-smart watch).

It seems like a step up from my Apache. Water resistance is also better. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, I didn't know such a thing existed outside of the Casios and maybe some similar things like Garmin or Suunto. Can you easily take the bracelet off and swap it out with something else? I'm still waiting for your thoughts on the Casio Waveceptor. The one I picked up on Amazon Japan was a WV-M60. Is it a rival for the Grey Man or the Casio Royale if you're going to spend just a bit more and still be around $50?
@Realidealgear Жыл бұрын
I looked at the lug-bar and it didn't strike me as any different than others. I have a waveceptor on the in queue for a review. My first impressions put this watch above some other Casios...namely the Royale and MWD 110... but we shall see after some use and work.

@@Realidealgear Thank you, Tim. I haven't used the Waveceptor extensively and won't put it through its paces the way I know you will. I'm really curious as to how it would go with the kind of usage you give it. There are a few great things and a few "dings" that you will also undoubtedly notice. I won't mention them here because I know from watching your videos that you will see all these things anyway. One other watch I have with a few unusual features and characteristics is the GD350. After buying it simply to use as an alarm clock (using the vibration), I have come to really love it and think that it's a true masterpiece of design. This watch really does do what it promises. The implementation of its various functions is superb. There are some issues that we have with with other Casios that this watch has fixed. You may perhaps consider it a bit too bulky and for that reason it might get in the way or get caught on things when you're sticking your hand into tight places, but other than that I would expect it to easily pass your various tests and for you to also be a fan of the GD350.

I purchased the W736 with a vibration alarm...looking to see how it works. I hope the alarm works with the timer. Review forthcoming.
@skipinkoreaable Жыл бұрын
@@Realidealgear I have the W735, your new watch's sister. If I'm not mistaken, these two are almost exactly the same except for the layout. The W735 has both vibration and sound alarm. It's an excellent watch for what it is, but it doesn't have a snooze function. In my case that means that I'm much more likely to sleep through it and can only use it when I'm not sleeping. You've got a great watch, but there are a few issues you will experience with it that I feel the GD350 resolves perfectly. I found the size and battery life of the W735 more to my liking, but in all other respects I prefer the GD350. One of the reasons I respect it so much is that it fixes the issues that lower end Casio vibration watches have.
@skipinkoreaable Жыл бұрын
I forgot to mention that the vibration alarm and the sound alarm cannot be used at the same time. I expect that this will also be true for the W736.

North Edge is a Malaysian company that makes some really interesting Breitling, Casio/Garmin/Suunto style watches. I've had their $30 Pulsar PQ clone (possibly deleted model) for 3 years now, really happy with it 👍

The battery indicator on this watch was at 50% when it arrived. I suspect is uses a lot of energy...lots of functions to run.

It seems my comments aren’t posting neither off my iPhone of desktop.😡Either way,you can buy the watch with both the bracelet and a silicone band in the color of your choice for about $93.00.
