Correction: the feature reel states that North can hold graphics cards up to 335 mm in length (00:28). It can actually hold graphics cards up to 355 mm in length.

Per the Fractal Design website, the max card length is cut to from 355mm to 300mm with a 360mm front radiator.

I like the brass finishing on Black, strange the white one is silver instead =/ White + Glass is sleek. Black + Mesh makes the seam not so noticeable.

I definitely prefer the black with the darker wood and the brass buttons and feet. The harder choice for me is between the window and the mesh. I don't necessarily need to see the inside of my computer, but I'm not sold on the mesh either.

Same design, but mATX and mITX versions - is just MUST HAVE. Top and front 280mm radiator mounts is just enough.

​@@Milchschndde my point is that for most builds 360mm radator is unneccesary. I have Ryzen 5900x under 280mm Aorus water cooling on frontal panel and RTX 3080 Aorus waterforce with 240mm radiator on top. My case is Meshify C. And this almost most powerful components on the market do not require 360mm radiators. So, combination of North case with limited height just enough to fit 280 (or even 240mm) on front, without 3.5 mount bays on bottom, and with mITX or mATX mount - would be the best for me. More compact, still cold and effective. I found it kinda spendy to by ATX North, just for design. But design + less size = adequatre money spending.=)

I would have bought the North if it would had a 280mm rad support on the top to put my kraken in it and still get plenty airflow for the GPU with front fans. I am sad that it has dual 140mm support at the top but only 240mm radiator support. I don't quite get what happened there.

I’ve always loved the simplicity and function of a Fractal case. These newer models (besides the Torrent imo, though I understand a lot of people like it) expand on the classic idea very nicely. Minimalistic with an aesthetic flare consistent with the brand. Well done.

Beautiful case. I'm hoping for an ITX version as soon as possible so that I can retire the "Nano S". This "North" case is very well designed - that wooden slat front will fit beautifully into the ambience of every home. Just keep going with the modern and minimalistic, yet daring design, which will certainly be an inspiration to many others. - - - - Just one recommendation - it would be good if both sides were made of perforated metal (or at least if there was an option to buy them separately). E.g. For the "Nano S" I'm using now, I made the back panel from perforated metal - and I did it mainly for the sake of the m2 SSD located on the back of the motherboard, and I reduced the temperature by 20ºC.

There's gonna be so many beatiful builds with this one. Looks like the case, a PC enthusiast would get, simply because it's not over the top with RGB, like a lot of gamers get. This is for the PC designers, who cares more about how well every peice of hardware goes with the design, than if it is fast, or flashy.

I would have bought this 20 years ago, but it’s hard (for me) to see a meaningful sized market for this today. Architects and some engineers. A few gamers, perhaps. Designers use Mac and you can easily find a laptop powerful enough to handle heavy applications. I hope I’m wrong because it’s beautiful.

Literally the only reason I won't be getting this case is because of the lack of support for 280mm Rad support on the top of the case. I recently got a 280mm Actic AIO just a couple weeks ago in preperation of getting either a 12700k or 12900k to deal with the heat load of those chips. Fractal if you manage to get 280mm support up there though please take my money and send one ASAP

Fractal is the only case manufacturer I approve. When you'll start shipping cases in pieces to make shipping less hassle? And why motherboard + I/O shield isn't on a removable piece? Just slide in and 2 or 4 screws in rearpanel should be a standard. Because my hobby is to build pc's for other people. My only demand is always to use Fractal cases.

I definitely gonna buy this case if there is an XL version with more than 2 3.5" drives at normal price, 215mm width is too tight imo (unlike now with the regular version price at the regular torrent price with zero stock 👎). Mesh version for sure since i don't like the hassle of broken glass panel + don't like to show of my dusty components with flashy rgb lights lol, good job Fractal 👍 Edit: the regular version apparently can slots up to 3 3.5" drives with accessory

Quick question I have a 360 aio which I want tto mount in the front of the case, can the radiator be installed into the fan tray side of the bracket and the fans be installed on the back of tthe fan bracket inside the case? front cover > Radiator > fan bracket > fans > inside case in this configuration, is the 355mm limit for the gpu not being reduced to 330mm and not 300mm? because the rad is sitting inside the fan cage at the front

I'm tired of tempered glass. glad to see the option with perforated panels there. Still would like to know if the fabric for the ridge can be bought at different colour. also the wood trim on these cases, could you buy them with different stains?
