If you're into DIYing a bit, you can get longer screws for the side panel on the CPU side, and get some thick rubber washers. This allows for a little extra space to put a Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 as the CPU cooler. Better cooling but its 37mm in height so you need that little extra room. Plus having a small gap between the front panel and the case, will allow for a little better airflow. Since it's only a few mm of space, it will still look basically the same.
@klayf_
@klayf_ 2 ай бұрын

I think the build is a good idea if you are on the move constantly. Its pretty bare for extras, so there isn't any barriers over a laptop. You'll get more out of it, for the larger backpack space. If you plan to run with hubs, more monitors, external drives, etc. Maybe a good laptop is best. Otherwise, this is pretty sick and easier to keep using or repurpose later on.

A good build, I have the same video card, to get rid of noise i undervolted it to 900 mV at a gpu frequency of 2550 and raised the memory frequency by 750, fixing the fan by 30%, it became almost silent in games without losing performance. There are no problems with stability, as well as with temperatures.I strongly advise anyone who builds ITX builds to spend some time on an undervolt GPU and especially an AMD CPU to get better temperatures and lower power consumption with the same performance.

Nice! Got the same case running a Ryzen 5600x and RTX 4060 TI for my living room setup. Many of my friends who've seen it didn't realize it was a PC. Also managed to mount a 2.5" 2TB SSD on it's side next to the PSU under the GPU. On top of that, I underclocked and undervolted both the CPU and GPU to achieve a perfect balance of performance and ambient noise from the fans. It's nearly silent when gaming. If you haven't already, replace the fan inside the PSU to a 40x20mm Noctua fan IMMEDIATELY! It turns out that's the loudest part when it comes to fan noise. They have adapters available for the fan to convert it from 3 pin to 2 pin and it's very easy to do.

I think there could be decent leeway in your fan speed and temps to get custom CPU and GPU fan curves going if you want it quieter. monitor way too small for me, and have had one too many Logitech mice fail after a year. Also case has one of my biggest pet peeves- a single USB type A. still uses the whole 2 port header, and only gives one port. That's minimalist to the point where you're losing basic function, wish case makers would get over that crap. Otherwise, a nice build. Do like me a shoebox pc case, and the vertical nature of this one is kind of cool. Also like How it makes use of a sff gpu to shrink the case, rather than several inches of empty air for no reason in most of these sandwich layout cases. Personally, I'm still partial to the Silverstone SG13, or SG05 if I want a disk drive. Just right level of small without missing any function, and fits a 120mm AIO cooler with a GPU.

I've had this Logitech mouse for 3 years and it's still working, maybe I got lucky with this particular one 🙏 I would of loved if this case was slightly taller to fit 2 small fans to extract heat, but the undervolt has certainly helped

@@JammyMunkyTech Funny how it works sometimes, one brand is terrible for one person, and never fails for another. Fingers crossed you got a decade long mouse, I really do miss my Intellimouse Explorer. Almost 20 years that basic POS lasted. I got rid of it for an optical mouse, and I wish I never did to this day. It'd probably still work, so long as I kept the ball clean. RE: the fan space, I totally agree. Companies seem obsessed with tiny to the point of giving up function, and it's so frustrating to have so many cases that are almost perfect out there.

For black setup, i use logitech mx keys mini and logitech 650m silent, they are amazing, i have the keyboard for almost 2 years and the mouse for like half a year. I like my keyboard slim and quiet and the mouse too 😊 the setup looks so good, i would choose a tablet instead as monitor but it’s very nice what you chose for this setup 👏🏼

I've bought this case recently alongside with other components to build pc. And now i decided to sell it all, because laptop is more convenient and not much expensive.

Laptop is definitely more convenient! This setup works well if you want a ‘compact desktop gaming pc’ that can be portable if needed and with the ability to change any component as you would a regular size desktop.

As someone who almost reach 30, i would say i want something like this. So small, so convinient, so easy when you mobile between places like home, apartment. I just build an ATX tower that is heavy to carry lol

I pair my white setup to a p1000 Nomvdic 4k short throw projector which sells for $699 to 799 when on sale on Amazon. The specs are sick and it looks killer clean. I use a Paris Rhone 80" portable screen (~$85) which is a good size for a short seating distance and rolls up on the short vertical side for an easier carry. The projector is severely under rated for the price. It has a .65 dmd chip! Deep blacks and only 2x pixel shift for real 4k. The HDR mode looks so awesome when you dial it in. It has Motorized Zoom and high refresh rates with super low latency for gaming! The only caveat is there is no output for audio. And there is 1 hdmi port without eArc but the separate type-c port does work as another RGB input. I got video from type-c to type-c using my phone S23U, and direct to my rtx 2020 / 3060 ti machines. So 2 video inputs overall. Keep an eye out for it as nobody knows the street price.
