Awesome vid, fished that river with my Dad, 88 yrs old, and local guide Brian Wise. Dad had fly rods in our hand when we were 10 yrs old. Don't think that's really considered a freestone creek though, mores of a spring creek. Freestone generally refers to mountain streams fed by snow.

Man, that sounds like an amazing time very cool history. The “freestone” comment I totally understand what you're saying, it just feels like a freestone. Regardless its an amazing place. Thank you for watching appreciate the support!

Awesome video! Gloomy weather for the last week here in NWA. Finally out of my leg boot from when I broke my leg...and I've already been to Osage Creek and caught a few Sunfish and chubs. I'm ready for the White!!

Your hookup rates will significantly increase if you move your feet and position yourself closer to your target. Get closer. Also instead of casting down and across, cast up and across. It's much easier to have a successful hook set of the fish is upstream of you. Nice video

Thanks Matt for the advice and guidance I really appreciate that and thanks for watching! 👍

Were you able to walk to the spots in this video from Blair camping area? Or did you have to drive elsewhere? I’ll be in this area at end of April and would love to get to a spot I can actually walk and wade vs float
@CASTAFLYAdventures9 ай бұрын
Yes walk and wade from Blair no problem. This was downstream of boat ramp. If we keep getting rain the water level could be up, but still shouldn't have to much trouble.
