Actually in the lore, it says that NK reunited with SK, Kim replaced many NK Officers with competent South Korean one, so most likely the soldiers were also Former ROKA (SK Arrmy) personnel as well

I remember playing this in middle school, now I live in Korea and speak Korean. Everything about the North Koreans is so....bad. The English accent is a Chinese accent, not Korean. Not to mention the pronunciation of their Korean is really off, it's not a Northern accent, let alone a Southern one. It sounds like me, a white guy, the first year I was speaking Korean

That's because the aggressors were meant to be Chinese instead of Koreans. But, I could probably say that the Chinese had some financial investment in the studio that made this game, and opposed the Chinese being the Aggressors. And that's why they've been replaced with North Koreans, and now it makes less sense than before, all because some Chinese that had money poured into it said no to the Chinese aggression part. That's also explains in the 2012 Red Dawn on why instead of it being the Chinese, it's the Russians and North Koreans instead.

This is how Palestinians, Iraqis, Syrians, Somalians, Libyans, Ukrainians, Georgians, Burmese, Moros (in Philippines), Sudanese, Congos, Sahrawis (in West Sahara), Afghanistans, Yemenis people facing in almost everyday and they have to deal with it (like exactly in this video game) everyday until today. And they're still don't know how it comes to an end. RIP for all of innocent peoples (and also the NPCs in this video game).

Ah yes memories. While Homefront (1) was very short (max. 4 hours) and the gameplay was not really great to say the least, the story or the lore is actually awesome. Quite deep and dark - dramatic, catching, exciting. The Intro or cutscenes in general and the start was just wow. To bad they didn't continue the story with Homefront: Revolution, especially after this very unsatisfying cliffhanger of an end, but instead made a complete different game, even changed the acctual background and put up a complete different storyline to play. They made the gameplay even worse and especially alot more repetitive than the first game (I mean 50% of it felt like watching filler episodes) and there is absolutly no variety - the hole time you do the same again and again and not even have much of an arsenal, at least as much as I can remember from Homefront: Revolution. It was an absolute disappointment that I remember very well. I had alot more in this just 2-4 hours of HF1 than with the 30 hours in HF2.

I remember this cringe worthy game. 😂 Never got to experience the PVP, though which I heard was good. I played the reboot and it was OK but the online experience was only co-op and I was rather bothered that they didn’t try and continue on from this game story for the simple fact the studio, which made this game got shut down. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Oh well. There’s better first person shooters out there…

I loved this damn story but was so disappointed with homefront 2. It's like so many games are straying from their previous title to rewrite their game to either kill it or make it something new.
