I think that to win a war, there must be peace at the end. I do not think anyone in Korea can say that they truly "won" the war. Western media shows North Korea as "starving" for food. South Korea and the United Nations Army (USA, UK), fought in this war - on the one side. And commun. Korea, China and USSR on the other side. Division at 38th parralel is the result.

I love Insamjoo. That is the ginseng root soju. I make that stuff myself. I usually let it sit for about a year or two. That stuff is expensive at the Korean mart. About 50$ for a good aged bottle but it is only 20oz or a small bottle of beer size. 150$ for that size is pretty good. You drink it on a hot summer day with samgyetang (chicken ginseng soup). I love your views of over there😊

@@madeinrussland I stayed at the Pribaltiyskaya Hotel. Always a commissar in the end of each corridor, lifting the phone as we passed by. There was a micro switch in the lock of the hotel room. As I started to flicker it, some babushka came running down the corridor screaming as she sneaked into the room across from ours. But one day we were allowed to walk along Nevsky Prospect without our guide, and into the Galeria Mall, Soviet style back then. Mikhail Gorbachev was new in power when we were there. I remember how excited our guide was, and how things were about to change. And changed it did indeed, as it seems from various videos I see, including yours. I'm glad to see North Korea is opening up to Russians. But stay cautious to the global west, could be a good idea.

Ďakujem za druhú časť. Pekne kľudné čisté mesto, bez veľkoplošnych reklám. Inak v obchodoch aj v reštaurácii komorná atmosféra. Polovicu života som žil v socializme, rád na to obdobie spomínam, krásne detstvo a dospievanie. Nebolo to tak utiahnuté ako v Severnej Korei. Že nemajú internet je aj dobre, mládež by sa skazila, vidim to vôkol seba. Škoda že nebola možnosť navštíviť individuálne domácich ľudí v ich domoch či bytoch.

28:40 The first metro train is an old East German one. Who would have thought that these trains would surface in North Korea of all places. 😂 This makes of course somewhat sense since East Germany was a major exporter of trains, trams, and busses within the Eastern Bloc. You could see them back in the day in East Berlin and also for quite some time after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The Inside remained exactly the same, only the outside color was a bright orange tone. In terms of cars we were able to buy one but the catch was that there was a waiting time of 18 years. (Yes, no typo, 18 years, not months.😂 But I'm sure there were some people that were just a little bit more equal than the rest of us who were able to speed up the process.😁) Thank you for sharing your North Korean video footage with us. Did you happen to ask what the prices for the paintings at the art gallery were?

You can watch 2 Chinese movies about this war. China helped Northern side. "Battle of Changjin Lake" was one of the battles. You can find it in Russian platforms i guess. I suggest you to watch it for better understanding of the war from Northern side. It's like a documentary.
