so true I have had my most healing times when I turned everything off and would just be in nature and when I got into thrifting and decorating and letting my self enjoy clothes and home decor and finding myself through those material things and just enjoying them. Enjoying the little things in general. Bottom line is that naturally, we tend to be really ungrounded and have a hard time with clarity often. Which has lead most of us into toxic relationships because we would latch onto people that would make us feel grounded and secure instead of learning to be more pragmatic ourselves and learning to be grounded on our own, which is what we learn as we get older whether we realize this or not and the helpful thing about astrology is that it just helps us solidify what we already know or have inklings about and to keep moving forward and not swimming in circles. enjoy the little things get out of your head to breathe live your life be the kid in the sandbox zoned out eating his ice cream while the others fight over their legos lol

So wonderfully put. I'm apparently guilty of having a Savior syndrome. A martyrs always trying heal broken people and suffering for others. As an empath I thought I could save these toxic unhealthy people. Well for one no asked me to save them and for 2 I can't save someone else if I'm fricking drowning . I learned this the hard way these last couple years. But I Drew this to me because I need to heal myself . I've suffered enough needlessly gave enough to ungrateful. I was completely depleted. Hmmm.I feel people with a lot of 8th house/Scorpio placements actually focus a lot on material security out of a fear of losing everything or not having enough.Actually dedicate a lot to accumulating but forget to live.I think the Taurus/second house lesson is to learn to ENJOY and be present.To learn that they do have enough and life is to be lived fully but not in a thrill seeking way but more in a "I'm content with myself" sort of way.

Thank you, this video gives me confidence! Recently I studied some spiritual-metaphysical stuff very deeply, and I felt like being into the material world was, "greedy" or "low vibrational". It was making me feel so anxious, depressed and so many more things. I kept questioning every thing about life, the pleasures, senses, I really want to cherish it all and I felt so upset when I was presented with spiritual teachings like, "It's all just an illusion," "Become connected, pay attention to dreams," "Open your Third-Eye," "Material world is low vibrational." Maybe it was intense for me reading all this because my south node is in 12th house. I don't want to be spiritual and connected all the time. Sometimes I just want to be on a ship in a sea and enjoy the sunlight, eat something tasty and read a book, while having my partner by my side. It's not like I will be disconnected from the high vibrational things if I'm materialistic! Infact I'll be very much free flowing and in a high vibration when I'm following my North Node. God knows how much I needed to see this video. All of the 12th house, scorpio stuff was weighing heavy on me. Learning more about my NN gives me so much peace ❤.

So true! .... lolol ;-) Easier said than done, about the material 'money' part. Tired of egotistical self-absorbed human beings who are all and only 'in it for the money!" Most people's moral-codex is 'out of the window!" Anyway, ... learning not to 'sell myself under value'. That's another lesson I've learned, because the environment easily tries to take and get the best of you. They really don't care of are able to pay for the bare necessities, if they can leave you with scraps as a pay-check! The bureaucracy is also really terrible in order to even get a foot off the ground in case you want to start your own business, and then some more. Funny enough, I'm also a Scorpio Sun, conj. Venus and I have my Neptune in SCO too. My TAU Moon opposite Neptune should actually be helpful, but I have not yet noticed that it is but to realize that I have no interest in 'making money', or living anywhere where I won't feel emotionally 'right', you know. After many years of life now, I actually started to shun people, especially when it's about all these stupid rules and regulations of the homogenized world, where most are merely living their life on auto-pilot! ... Not my thing! .... Needless to say that I'm done trying to force myself to fit in! (Taurus North-Node, or not!) It's simply incorrect for my overall well-being, my emotional and physical health to keep on forcing myself to run with the herd while feeling sick to my stomach because of it. I'm too old for this now. It may have worked in my younger years, although I never felt comfortable in midst of all the 'go-getters of fake!" I prefer to live a more hermit-style of life, where I'm basically NOT bothered with homogenized social stuff! Frankly, I just wish to be left alone while surrounded by a selected few honest and decent people. Quality over quantity, you know. makes SO MUCH sense for how i am / how i grew up. I’m a sun scorpio w a taures north node, i just turned 20 and have been on my spirtual journey for 4 years and i 100% see how that relates w my past life and how naturally enlightened i am in this current life. Growing up, i was and still am a VERY tactile person, going to stores when i was younger i would touch everything and even now i do, that’s how i learn aswell, i learn best as a hands on learner especially in school. I am scorpio sun, moon, rising amd Scorpio dominate in my chart with Taurus north node. I struggle finding work. I always end up amd hard working jobs for minimum wage and even with the help of the unemployment people who also help you with resumes I have no luck. They were even surprised that I only get turned down. I was unemployed for 6yrs when finally a restaurant hired me, I worked there 5yrs before another company bought the property and closed it down. The 6yrs unemployment and the 5yrs I worked restaurant, I was looking for a better job consistently. I was unemployed for another 3yrs before I got hired at a minimum wage job but finally a job with benefits. So it took me 14yrs to find another minimum wage job with benefits. I had worked for Honda, min wage but benefits, they sold company and wasn't hired back. I think scorpio with Taurus noth node has a very difficult time in the career field in some way or another. Eventhough I have worked my ass off I don't think I will ever be financially independent no matter how bad I want it.

My life has been a rollercoaster of emotions, ups and downs. Yet at 33 I am just getting started. Nailed it with me, but it's hard to stay grounded. I also have chiron conjunct my north node and venus conjunct and also TWO yods pointing at my north node. I guess that makes it more of a challenge for me?

I am Leo (Sun, Mars, Mercury in Leo 6th House) my NN is in Taurus 2nd House, SN in 8th House Sco. also Pluto and Saturn 8th Sco. The sign is the "how" and the house is the "where" - so think of how you can "ground" yourself and find a material expression/ practical way of dealing with 8th house matters i.e shared resources, sex, death/ rebirth, taboos, psychological traumas.
