My NN is Capricorn. As a kid I really wanted to be a mother and always had to be responsible for my own mom. Her NN is in Cancer. I've been no contact with her for seven years and it's really helped me grow. I was a lot closer to my grandmother till she passed away. Definitely very ambitious in life. I had babies around me to take care of from the age of 10-17 Home makes me so happy, but life did force me to become very hard & colder. This is crazy cool. I grew up taking care of my siblings, left my family at 18 worked at a preschool then became a nanny. 2 years ago, I finally quit the nanny job, I was going nowhere. I got an admin job and within 6 months I was promoted to Operations Manager, I now have a corner office and am in charge of a full division, it came so naturally to me (I'm also capricorn sun w/Cancer rising) My weakness is ALWAYS taking care of people, it's almost impossible for me not to spend insane amounts of money on my family and friends. I think I've been living comfortably numb in my South Node for most of my life. I had to go through a painful emotional experience to get the point across to let go of the illusion of creating a stable and happy home life for a wife and kids because all of it crumbled right before my eyes... Putting me in a state of denial that I couldn't feel the pain of my losing something I wished and hoped for... All it gave me was a sense of being lost in darkness without direction because that beacon of light got put out really quick... I didn't know where to go from there or how to manage the pain and confusion, let alone starting all over... Its been at least 3 years of getting over this mess and I believe Im moving through the final stages a lot faster since I've been learning a lot about myself through studying my birth chart. Its left me with this bitter sweet feeling about life but at least I know why I must gravitate towards this Capricorn energy and have a more practical approach to everything, giving me a need to be on top of things and instead of getting by crushed them..

Same! Cancer sun (cancer/gem cusp….June 22nd 92)…. With Aries moon! I’m a Leo ascendant I’m vedic though lol Pisces ascendant in western … I totally get you… when I first learned my NN is in capricorn…(south node in cancer) my mind just about exploded…totally baffled (again and again) over how MUCH astrology truly resonates (I find…it’s always the people that have never taken the time to truly dig deep into it, that are full blown skeptics)….. Due to allowing myself to (pretty much sabotage myself)….sinking into my cancer SN….. I am truly paying for it (def learning my lesson today at 31)…. I know I have it in me to master my NN…the issue is my value system… my beliefs have shifted dramatically over last few years, so the value around “hustle culture”…..is so unauthentic to me, I LOVE having nice things… I love being capable of sustaining myself financially… etc…. But then my logic comes in and says….”but what’s the point? You know that’s not why we are here…none of that stuff will ever matter”….. like you, just about 3 years ago….so mucj happened, and everything I did have…was ripped from beneath me… landing back home with my mother for the first time since 18… and it’s humiliating. Thank you for this. I spent my 20's teaching mindfulness meditation and yoga because I felt like I needed to help others somehow. I quit because I often felt drained by giving so much attention to other people and barely making any money. Now entering my 30's and feeling like I actually need to be a bit more selfish and focus on my dream career and financial goals....Funny though about the mothering in past lives because one of my biggest fears in this life is that I will never get to experience being a father. So far this is the information that I have been looking for.... havnt understood this N. node aspect until now. Its almost nice to discover how a challenge can be worked with. Ive gone through a very enlightening process or should we label this same process as a way to uncrazy yourself. For example I tried to follow or understand what it means to be an aries my whole life.... and on one side..... I kind of could relate to horror-scopes about aries. but I felt insane because I might have felt the connection inside.. but my actions were opposite... Then someone told me .. your on a cusp... pisces aries cusp..... Then I read about pisces..... and felt it was even more accurate than aries.... yay confusion... but after I formulated my own alchemy between the two signs... I felt a huge weight off my shoulders... and everything became more still or centered. This video has maybe provided me with the tools to make a VERY needed adjustment. Ive made art for more than 30 years and never gotten the nerve to play the social public art networking game... I only am concerned with mastering my art style(which is painting animal souls that we digest in our bodies and the magic they release)......... Now I know..... it is the time to change gears....... because also I act the s. node cancer exactly as you described.... I spend more time helping people get motivated than I do fullfilling the responsibility of my own happiness..... Ok this is ending up being a rant...... but I guess might as well complete what I started here..... (the aries side of me is already bored) my rising is Libra... venus and mercury in pisces... moon in sag.... mars in capricorn.... aquarius in jupitor and gemini in saturn.... Somehow...this to me... is someone who charges over fantasy illusion bridges without thinking... yet it seems to work just fine when Im asleep... except when I wake up on a pile of dead sheep underneath a real bridge above me.

Same here...and the fun fact is: my mom is cancer. We have a love/hate relationship... so should I just cut off any emotions and become ice queen inside? The strange thing is, that when I don't care about others I feel so much anger inside of me...like feeling guilty for not caring about others and saying no to them...don't know how to handle the anger and stay calm and friendly outwards to others. Hi, I do love your approach to astrology and hello fellow Capricorn North noder! 😆 Great advice in your video. I have found that my North node likes the word Master. Mostly it would be wonderful to hold this title for myself 😃, but also in looking for opportunities to climb up, up, up to that level of true authority, where I get to write the rules ( author ) or the story , even if it's just my own personal one, but definitely I like to look to who I perceive to be masters in a field , who have that level of authority, to learn from. It isn't about medals or number of followers but the stayabiliy they have at the top of their game. I had pretty emotionally cold childhood so I found Capricorn nNode coldness came a little too easily to me too soon. I was given leadership roles without having a healthy self esteem or basic emotional foundations like selfcare, and I found I had to spend many years doing the work of self nurturing , behind the scenes, before I truly can own the authorship path that I'm on now. In a way the path of self mastery is an aspect of Capricorn ascending rather than getting stuck in the tissues and laundry loads of Cancer south node?

I'm quick to cut people off if they're on some bs. I do feel like I'm very comfortable at home tho. I haven't left the nest yet. It's not that the North Node wants you to leave your South node behind. It's that it wants you to use your talents from the south node to end to Great and move towards your North Node. There is nothing wrong with still operating within your South node. You spent lifetimes working on mastering that energy and those gifts and those abilities you don't need to completely leave it behind. You simply need to make sure that you live in a balanced state and like I said, take those talents and use it to propel you towards your North node. For example, I happen to have this placement. I am an early childhood specialist and work with parents and families to help get children diagnose and access services they need. I use my nurturing abilities in a way that I could still reach and help others while honoring the need to have a professional career and leave a legacy. It really is just that simple. Also, Capricorn is considered feminine energy. It is not technically considered masculine. It is ruled by Saturn which gives it a more disciplined approach, but it's still considered feminine. It's the other side of feminine energy.

I really like your approach in explaining astrology. I also read a lot about this placement, I was born in 1991 therefore I have this karmic placement. However it is interesting that I have my north node in the 5th house along with saturn in the 5th. It seems like my life lessons will be around being more pragmatic with my approach to raise childreen. To think more about providing for them with my work and be responsible before I have one. I think this is my life lesson, even though I am also a cancer sun, so a conciliation between nurturing and responsibility will be necessary. 😃✌🏻️

Yep! I have a stellium in cap with my Saturn at 0° aqua, right next to my moon in aqua. Thru my Saturn return im making the flip from expressing south node to north node I think. And coming into some colder or more detached aquarian aspects, and shedding codependent or "nurturing" past cycles.. To sum it up: emotions like a robot alien haha

i have to tell you my placement is really hard my north node is in the 10th house and in the sign of Taurus.... which means my south node is in Scorpio... my moon is in Capricorn as you see my childhood and teenage years are full of trauma and low self-worth experiences and heartbreaks but my dear friends we are stronger than we think and actually have great placement because we will grow in to strong and independent people with authority

Looking after children would be a nightmare for me. I didn't have children and family life was emotionally insecure. Couldn't wait to leave home. I don't allow myself to get attached to any one, probably fear of rejection as my childhood was conditional love and had to be earned. Ironically, my past relationships were based on conditional love but I was the one who based it. I now choose to live alone with unconditional love from my Dog. 😍

Hey there, I'm also a Gemini sun and have both venus and mars in cancer and a stellium of Gemini planets in the 4th house. I've found this issue too, wondering if the work from home is failing my Capricorn north node or if doing paid care work is too. But over the years I have come to recognise the north /south node more as an internal force that my soul reckons with rather than an external modus operandi, if that makes sense? I think it only matters whether you can answer yes to " does what I'm doing lead to self respect? " , not the way that it looks on a CV. Afterall, we can't all be a CEO of a major corporation but we can all be the CEO of Me . 😊

My NN in Capricorn is in the 4th house. Saturn is conjunct SN in Cancer in the 10th. Moon in Cancer in 11th house ; my moods and aspirations change so often it's difficult to build a firm emotional and financial foundation. No surprise to be diagnosed with adult ADD (the day dreamy type). I mean I'm 48 and still trying to get out of my own way. But that's the challenge I gave myself for this lifetime, right? I struggle with this a lot because imo, there's nothing more beautiful, more powerful, and more meaningful than being a homemaker. It's always been my dream job. It's a very nobel vocation, but it's one that yields very little respect. College? ✔ Career? ✔ Travel? ✔. I've completed all of these and yet I still find the most value in creating community within my home. If I feel called to be a homemaker, why wouldn't I pursue it, regardless if my N Node is Capricorn?
